Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 (Review Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5)
A big, fun phone in a small, subtle package- Beautiful design and finish, Excellent performance, Sharp screens, Surprisingly rugged build
- Outer display functionality is limited by default, Poor app continuity between screens
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5: Flips the script in style
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 may not be a smartphone revolution, but it's certainly an evolution worth applauding. With its sleeker design, smoother Flex Hinge, and an innovative Flex Window for real-time information at your fingertips, it's a quirky and practical folding phone.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is the Tesla of smartphones
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is naturally Samsung's best flip-style foldable to date, but other manufacturers are starting to best Samsung at is own game.- Larger Cover Display is great, Zero-gap hinge, Lovely design
- Subpar cameras, Shortish battery, Still has a prominent display crease
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Review: Fashion Focused Foldable
There is a lot to love about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 , and if I were personally to buy a folding phone, this is the one I'd choose. It's not so hideously expensive as the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 but offers a similar sort of advantage.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is a fun folding flip phone that breaks the monotony of glass slab smartphones and is a great choice if you want a smaller phone in your pocket. But there are several compromises here, from the outer screen to battery life to camera quality.- Truly compact, Premium build quality, It’s fun to have a flip phone, Clever software features
- Outer screen a solution to a created problem, Middling battery life, Cameras solid but same as Z Flip 4, Slow charging
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 5G (256GB, Graphite) Australian Stock - Excellent review
“The Galaxy Z Flip 5 keeps everything that worked about the Flip 4, then combines that with a larger cover screen and a nicer hinge.”- No more gap when folded shut, Extremely well-built, Hinge feels outstanding, Much more useful cover screen, Fantastic performance, Good and dependable cameras, 5 years of updates
- The crease is still there, Mediocre battery life, Cover screen requires lots of tweaking
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 reviewed: more screen, less change
In total, Samsung’s update is just that: more screen, less change. You get slightly more from the display department at the front, and that is largely it. The approach for using that screen feels like a minor change to what Samsung had going for it with the smaller front screens in previous models,...- Stylish design, Fast performance, Water resistance, Wireless charging
- Bigger screen doesn't do a whole lot differently from the small screen on the Flip 4, Screen crease is still quite noticeable, Cameras could be better, Doesn't seem like much of an update
Samsung’s New Folding Phones No Longer Shine Quite as Bright
Samsung’s new folding phones are better than before, but now that competition among foldables has heated up, these Galaxies have less star power.- Refined folding phones. Improved cameras and displays. External display on the Flip5 is more useful. Long software-update policy.
- Expensive. Flip5’s external screen still has some restrictions, and battery life isn’t great. Fold5’s front screen is too narrow.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 review
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 still feels somewhat like an experiment, in that the fact that the device folds up is the big selling point. So much so, that Samsung is a little lax on things like camera quality.- Relatively durable, Great performance, Sleek design, Good interior display
- So-so camera, Battery is only fine
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 review
I will forever have a soft spot for the Galaxy Flip. It’s the device that made me believe that foldables could, indeed, be a viable path forward for the smartphone industry. Respect to the Fold for the tough path it blazed to become the first commercially viable entry, but the Flip flipped the...
