easy as, good battery, indestructable
Manufacturer: Samsung
This phone is extremely slippery. You cant hold it at an angle(it just slips suddenly, faster than a metal iphone does for example) and is slippery which isnt what I would expect as an IP rated 'contractor' robust phone. Therefore it needs a grippy case, which I was trying to avoid. The plastic edging properly protects the screen from a edge impact. The camera is bearable and it works well as a simple phone. Reminds me of J and A series samsung phones from a few years ago but it can be dropped.
We got this for my partner who works in a very dusty work environment and needed something more heavy duty this phone has been great so far
Replaceable once again. The Galaxy XCover 5 from Samsung offers an IP certification once again. The replaceable battery is back and the price is attractive. So is it the best it has ever been?
The Galaxy XCover 5 is not a quantum leap forward for the XCover series. It is a small step forward....
fast Wi-Fi; good GNSS performance; replaceable battery; long warranty period; no throttling under load; flicker-free screen;
low contrast ratio; no hardware navigation buttons; outdated (single) camera; mediocre speaker; slow card reader;
