Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 review: Still the Android king - Wareable
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 remains the best smartwatch for Android users, thanks to the improved Wear OS 3. But the changes between it and the Galaxy Watch 4 are so small that this isn't one to rush to upgrade to.- Good core smartwatch features, Bustling app store, Comfortable to wear, Some good fitness tracking elements
Just what I want
Good looking, seemingly reliable watch which has all the functions I want. If Samsung monitor these comments a polished silver finish would have been nice
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 review: Premium smartwatch packed with features
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is one of the best WearOS powered smartwatches available on the market, but is it worth the price? Here's our review.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 review: Marking time
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 makes a couple of tweaks to the design of the Watch 4 to give better protection, while offering a bigger battery and a couple of new features. It delivers a comprehensive offering and remains one of the top choices of wearables for pairing with an Android phone.- Great display, Sapphire crystal protection, Loads of functions, Decent battery, Plenty of customisation options
- Design is a little safe, Overshadowed by the Watch 5 Pro, Doesn't work with iPhone
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 (Review Samsung Galaxy Watch 5)
The benchmark for Android smartwatches- Competitive price, Sleek design, Bright, durable display, Good app selection, Slight battery life improvement over previous generation, Digital bezel for quick scrolling
- Temperature data unavailable at launch, Lacks outdoor-specific features of Pro model, Questionable SpO2 measurements, No heart rate variability or respiration data
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Review
An excellent smartwatch with a great screen, communication, health, and smart features- Excellent display quality, Responsive touch screen, Easy charging, Great call quality
- Lackluster app library
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 reviewed: minor updates and durability
A relatively fast and slick device, the Watch 5 is a good looking piece of hardware that makes use of the foundation Samsung has built before, even if it feels it hasn’t gone anywhere, new or otherwise. This is mostly about minor updates and durability, because that’s what the Watch 5 brings.- Fast and slick, Comes with Sapphire glass, Water resistant, Quite a few health sensors including bioelectrical impedance
- Battery life could be better, Still not standard Qi charging, The handy point of difference -- the rotating ring -- is gone, There's not a lot to separate it from other wearables, Android only, Seems to need Samsung devices for some features
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 (44MM, Blue Sapphire) - Excellent review
It’s the best Android smartwatch you can get... for now- Not quite as locked in to Samsung’s ecosystem, Better accessibility features, Slim, lightweight design, Improved durability
- Battery still ain’t great, Temperature sensor doesn’t do much yet, Upgrades are incredibly minor, Finicky touch bezel
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 (44MM, Blue Sapphire) - Excellent review
We’ve had a Samsung review blitz over the past two weeks, covering all the products the company announced at its recent Unpacked event. In my write-up of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro , I noted how understated the product line was, in contrast to its flash, bombastic foldables .
