The Galaxy Watch 4 is finally here, acting less as an update to last year’s Samsung wearable and more as the first in a long line of next-generation smartwatches. Very few tech products this year have garnered quite the same level of anticipation as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.

Still a lot of features yet to come, Doesn’t work with iPhone, Bixby is a mess, If you’re set with Apple: The Galaxy Watch 4 has zero functionality with Apple’s ecosystem, so if you’re an iPhone user then it’s better to steer clear.

Advanced processor. Third-party app ecosystem seems promising. Gives more customizability to Android users.

Battery life is a little disappointing. Body composition feature is tricky. Really, no Google Assistant? Drops iOS compatibility.

There's no doubting that the Galaxy Watch 4 is another solid smartwatch from Samsung. It's slick, looks good and performs well in most departments. This is supposed to be a Samsung smartwatch, with Google software flowing through it, but right now it feels very familiar.

It’s a good question to ask. For me, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is closer to the Apple Watch though it’s not there yet. But I am fine with it because the Watch 4 is anyway not compatible with the iPhone.

The Galaxy Watch 4 is, in my opinion, the best smartwatch out there. I say this as an owner of multiple Fitbit watches, Apple watch 6, Galaxy watch 3 41mm and a Galaxy The Galaxy Watch 4 is, in my opinion, the best smartwatch out there. The Watch 4 has great features, is not too heavy on the hand, and looks very minimalist and sleek in design (Which I love). The only disappointing thing is the battery life. The Watch will barely last a whole day with all features such as AOD and heartrate scanning on. However, this is an Ok compromise compared to other Smartwatches

Really good, can easily receive and make calls. Can read incoming messages and emails and reply using surprisingly accurate voice-to-text. Waterproof so don't need to take it off to shower. Finally a useful smart watch, will be better when Google Assistant app comes

This is a great smart watch. I have upgraded from the Galaxy Watch Active 2. The battery life is slightly better in the Watch4. I charge for around 1 hour before bed and that is all I do each day to keep up the battery. I have wifi, bluetooth, NFC, GPS and constant HR monitoring on and I am usually around 70% at end of day. I only use LTE when I am out walking. The ECG is a great feature and is representative against a clinically validated device as is the blood pressure monitoring. I am pleased to see how accurate these are. There are improvements on auto workout detection. The new OS seems to work more smoothly and there are different choices in apps and watch faces. Overall I am impressed. I much prefer the round face over a square one, it looks great on.
