Samsung developers should try and design tablets which are small, portable computers and NOT giant, clunky mobile phones.

Runs well. However, it was clearly designed to be like a giant mobile phone - intended primarily to be used in portrait mode. You can almost hear the logic of the designers: "Lots of people use mobile phones these days - therefore we should make our tablets more like mobile phones.

Too small

This tablet is slightly larger than a cell phone. Not practical at all. I ended up returning it.

Yes, it comes with Android Marshmallow, but it also comes with too much...

Yes, this model SM-T713 indeed has Marshmallow, 6.0.1 out of the box. If the confusing listing was holding you back go ahead and purchase, but read on. Gorgeous display. I have never seen better in an 8" format. Quick, responsive, everything you'd expect from a higher end Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (8-inch) Review

The smaller of Samsung's two new tablets, the 8-inch Tab S2 is a powerful little slate featuring a stunning AMOLED display and a fast octa-coreExynos processor in a very svelte, lightweight design.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0

Do tablets matter anymore? Samsung would like you to think so. Despite releasing some very large phones recently (the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ , the company still believes there's a home for tablets in a market crowded with enormous phablets.

Premium feel; Extremely thin and light; Sharp screen; Powerful processor; Solid camera

Many new features require additional Samsung devices; Some bloatware; Average battery live

With a stunning screen, premium design, and long battery life, Samsung's Tab S2 is a worthy Android alternative to Apple's iPad Mini.

Gorgeous screen; Great battery life; Premium; understated design; Expandable storage via MicroSD; Nice rear-facing camera; Thinner and lighter than the iPad Mini 4

Expensive; Year-old processor doesn't compete well with those in other high-end tablets
