We finally decided to give the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G LTE a spin even though it has been available from Verizon for a couple of weeks now.  The device, as many of you know, is exactly like the WiFi versions that have been in retail stores for a month or so, but packs that extra special 4G...

It is an interesting moment to be reviewing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Apple and Samsung are battling worldwide on who owns the designs to this tablet. But legal battles don't interest us that much. We care about good products! Does Samsung's first Honeycomb tablet step up to the plate?

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is the biggest out of the Tab 4 bunch and if 7 or 8 inch tablets are just too small for you then Samsung's got you covered with the 10.1.  The hardware is not unlike any Samsung product we've seen before being entirely constructed of plastic with a fake leather texture...

Bright and vivid display; dual speakers; build quality; Expandable storage

Quality product

I would give it 5 stars if it had an HDMI port and a better rear camera, but overall I am very pleased with the Samsung Tab 4 10.1 and would recommend it to anyone. The Hancom office suite is great and will interface with Microsoft Office.

As stated it would be nice to have an HDMI port and a better rear camera; but these are not significant drawbacks

No home, return or menu lights. Very hard to use in the dark. What were they thinking?

Nice tablet.

Bought this to replace my other tablet that died just days after the warranty expired. Was a name brand one too, not some cheap knock off. This tablet is a very nice buy. Wasn't too sure about it at first, but learned to tweak a few things, and like it much better than the tablet that died.

- Screen is responsive and bright; - Speakers are surprisingly nice sounding for being so small; - You get free stuff when you register your tablet with Samsung; - Doesn't lag and very quick to do actions you ask it to do; - Light weight; - Battery lasts a long time; - A lot of options.

- No backlight for the buttons on the bottom, which would be very useful to have; - Cannot use flash straight out of the box, but that isn't the fault of Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 Review

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a full-size tablet at a mid-range price. It has unimpressive specifications at first glance but these are sufficient for a $350 device.

Reliable and solid performance; Great battery life; Solid stereo speakers

Low display resolution; Barely acceptable cameras; Slightly heavy

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 Tablet Review

This year you might get the impression that time has stood still: There are no real innovations from the new tablet or smartphone generations. Even the performance is often similar.

Nice case; Solid build quality; Low power consumption; Very good battery runtimes; Convenient surface temperatures; Good signal quality; LTE with up to 150 Mbps; Bright display; The nice case and the good battery runtime

Not a lot of advancement compared to the predecessor; Low-resolution display; Blue cast; Poor cameras; Keyboard without umlauts; Speakers just average; A real advancement compared to the predecessor..

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 comes in three different sizes starting with a 7-inch followed by an 8-inch slab and then finally the 10.1-inch giant. Specification-wise, all three are crammed in with same features from tip to toe.

Responsive screen; Commendable Battery life; Voice Call Support

Inferior camera; Saturated display; Charging takes time
