No USB connector in box so can't be sure it's a new untampered box

The phone generally seems fine and as expected from a Samsung although battery life and motion detection/face recognition could be better. The box cane with a seal saying "European SIM only" and all the manuals are non-English. However the adaptor was UK which was weird.

Samsung Galaxy S9

Samsung Galaxy S9 is a small update to an already excellent phone. On first glance, it looks as though it has barely been updated over 2017's Galaxy S8. Look below the surface though and there's actually quite a lot going on. The competition in 2018 is arguably more fierce than it's ever been.

Fantastic display; Feels great; Much improved speakers

Average battery life; Dual-sensor only on Plus model; Some lag with Samsung's software

I'm a Samsung girl, so naturally I love this phone. I can't say anything bad about it.

Samsung Galaxy S9: Samsung's best-ever smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is an impressive handset, but there's not enough here to justify the steep price

Excellent low-light camera; The fastest Android smartphone yet

Slightly worse battery life; More expensive than Galaxy S8

Samsung Galaxy S9 Review: Is It Better Than The OnePlus 6

Is the standard Galaxy S9 worth a look when the Plus does it so much better Yes... But only in certain cases

Great design; Fantastic screen; Powerful internals

Lacks the second camera of the S9 Plus

Samsung Galaxy S9

It would be a mistake to think of the Galaxy S9 ( $620 at Amazon ) as the runt of the litter. Compared to the Galaxy S9 Plus ( $708 at Amazon ) and Galaxy Note 9 , the cheaper Galaxy S9 doesn't have as many flashy, shiny features.

The Galaxy S9 once again proves Samsung's formula of a gorgeous 5.8-inch screen, sexy dual-curved design and terrific camera for well-lit shots can't go wrong; Whiplash-fast speeds, wireless charging and water resistance complete the package; And it looks stunning in purple and blue

Low-light photos often look blurry and lack the fine texture and contrast of competing phone cameras; The Galaxy S9's camera frequently, accidentally switches between modes; 3D avatar software is tragically bad, and a new face-unlock tool is inherently insecure.

Great color, great design

Better then I expected so far. Still learning all the features. Seems very easy to operate. Transferred all the information from my other phone easily.

Fantastic!

Great phone, well done Samsung. Has everything you would expect from a Samsung smartphone and more. The pictures are exceptionally vivid and clear and the effects make even better photographs. Sound quality is a definite upgrade on my previous s7, the AKG in-ear headphones are very good quality.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Review

The Galaxy S9 is a perfect-sized phone with a fantastic camera and great performance.

Excellent display; Great 5.8-inch size; Good speakers; Strong performance; Stunning low-light camera

Battery life is lower than competition; Slow Android updates; Camera not as versatile as S9 Plus
