Did we really need to review the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus? It is, after all, much the same as the Samsung Galaxy S8, which we reviewed earlier . It has the same features as its (slightly) smaller sibling; the same internals, camera, storage options, and screen aspect ratio and resolution.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Review: What you get for $850!

Just when I thought I was done with big phones, Samsung drags me back in. There's an obvious commentary happening here. The return story. The rebuilding. Samsung's comeback. This company weathered a brutal public disaster last year.
Pros:

  • Respectable camera performance
Cons:
  • Characteristic Samsung stutters
  • especially with Bixby
  • Little software to actually take advantage of this aspect ratio

  • ergonomics
  • and durability
