Samsung Galaxy S8 Dual SIM SM-G950FD 64GB
Samsung Galaxy S8 is the new flagship phone from Samsung. The Korean company announced it on March the 29th 2016.
The screen measures 5.8 inches and almost covers the entire front area thanks to the curved edges and the removal of the physical home button. Samsung applies an Infinitive Design for the screen, which makes it appear larger than it is. The aspect ratio is slightly taller than most other phones at 18.5 x 9. This aspect ratio allows Samsung to offer split screens and therefore two apps can be viewed at the same time.
Galaxy S8 comes with Samsung's own voice assistant called Bixby and offers face recognition in addition to iris scanning and fingerprint sensor.

- Software optimized for one handed use
- One of the best cameras of 2017
- Good audio performance through headphones
- IP68 water and dust resistant
- Best specs on a flagship so far
- Iris scanner and Secure folder are awesome,...
- Third-party software needs to scale up to 18.5:9
- Lacks stereo speakers
- Battery life is just ok
- Where is Android 7.1
- Some variants are fingerprint magnets
- Hello Bixby is half baked and slow
- Software tends to stutter
- Fingerprint scanner placement makes no logical sense
Galaxy S8 Review: The Best Phone Will Only Get Better
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are the best Android phones you can buy, and they're not even finished yet. Starting at a fairly steep $750 and $850, respectively, Samsung's new flagship phones forge a beautiful new path for smartphone design by stripping away unsightly bezels with their respective...- Sleekest phone design yet

- Category-leading performance

- and Vision is hit or miss
- Fingerprint sensor is awkwardly placed

Samsung Galaxy S8 review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a phone that should be one of the very first you look at when deciding which new phone you buy. The large, bezel-less display is truly iconic and beautiful, and the screen quality excellent.- Amazing
- large display
- Huge power
- Great camera

- Very expensive at launch
- Bixby pointless
Samsung Galaxy S8 review
Samsung has taken the best phone around and made it even better with an impressive Infinity screen and premium design. It ticks a shedload of boxes - as you'd expect from a flagship. It's one of the best phones of 2017, and is nearly half the price of the iPhone X. But the biometrics are a let down.
- Easy to use, great Samsung owned apps like S Health
- Light weight, great screen resolution with a fast processor
- Battery life could be better
- I advise using one of the power saving modes to get the most out of the battery
SAMSUNG Galaxy S8 - 64 GB, Black
- Style
- Initially complicated
- The phone itself had great features but battery life is terrible
- I had read reviews veggie buying this phone but shocked that I don't even get a full day with the battery charged at 100%
- My old phones performance is better which is 4 years old! Also taking almost 2 hours to charge up
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus continue Samsung's recent penchant of combining outstanding smartphone design with an excellent display to create an all-around fantastic experience.
- Incredible & comfortable design Outstanding Super AMOLED display Fast performance Good all-round camera Bixby Voice Assistant has potential Best in class in-box headphones Acceptable battery life Front-facing camera has autofocus Plenty of customization options
- Odd fingerprint sensor location Bixby is limited and needs work No major improvements to the camera Iris recognition is hit and miss Bottom-firing speaker is average at best
This Ardent Samsung Fan Is Disappointed In S8+ Bugs and CNET Contributor Dolcort
CNET contributor Jessica Dolcort or her cohorts engage in stacking the user commentary. She/they did it on their initial Note 7 review, and she/they do it again here on the S8/+ review burying vocal negative user reviews about the very real bugginess of the current Samsung Galaxy flagship.- Galaxy familiarity and improvement evolution
- Constant Arbitrary Rebooting (at least 4 times per week)
Samsung Galaxy S8 review: The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue
The Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is without a doubt the most beautiful, polished phone I've ever held. These words were true when I first reviewed it in April, and are still true a month on. I do have some additional insights since then -- scroll down a bit for those.- The best-looking phone around crushes it in performance, battery life, water-resistance and wireless charging
- An external storage slot lets you keep more photos, videos and music.
- Its awkwardly placed fingerprint reader leads to camera smears and longer unlock times
- which is aggravating when you use it to unlock your phone dozens of times a day.
