The new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935F is a classy looking phone that comes in seven colour options; including silver, metallic blue, gold, and pearl black. Not only is this Smartphone great to look at, but it’s also one of the stronger models Samsung has produced. With a "Corning Gorilla Glass 4" back panel, you can be assured of extra strength in case your phone is dropped or banged.

Processor & memory

The aesthetics of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935F in no way take away from its functionality. The quad-core 2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo G9350 CPU works together with the 4 GB RAM to deliver a superior smoothness in operation. Your phone will also come with an onboard memory of 32GB, and you have the option to upgrade your space with a MicroSD card of up to 256GB.

Screen

The display screens on these phones are nothing short of magnificent. A Super AMOLED 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen offers you 16M different colours at a resolution you’ll never want to downgrade from. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935F also comes with standard screen protection from TouchWiz UI. It’s an always-on display screen and its also curved for extra protection.

Camera & video

This smartphone’s primary camera is a 12 MP with an LED flash & auto focus functionality. What’s significantly impressive are the three video settings you can choose to utilise. These settings include:

  • 2160p@30fps

  • 1080p@60fps

  • 720p@240fps

Galaxy S7 And S7 edge Review: An Iteration, But One Samsung Can Be Proud Of

The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will invite controversy by their very existence. Samsung could serve up the S7 at half the price and with half the bloat and people would still be making TouchWiz jokes like it was 2012. That's life when you're the most popular Android smartphone maker on the planet.
Pros:
  • Display Samsung has had the best smartphone displays in the business since, give or take, the Galaxy Note 3
  • They still do, even if you don't hear that praise being sung so often these days (mostly because it's just a given), Quality Samsung's phones still feel and look the nicest of any Android OEM...
Cons:
  • Speed The Snapdragon 820 version of the S7 feels no quicker than an S6 on Marshmallow
  • Really
  • It's noticeable
  • It's also noticeably slower than the Exynos variant
  • I have my suspicions about this, see them in the performance section, Camera It has greatly improved low-light performance, but this...

UPDATE: The S7 line might be two generations old, but the S7 Edge and regular S7 are still spectacularly good phones, especially as they now can be both found for around £355 and £300, respectively – for the money, you won't find a better-built phone that has a stunning rear-facing camera; they've...

Great phone

I went from a Galaxy S4 (rooted, running Android 7.1.2, Lineage) which served me well for 4 to 5 years to the S7 Edge... This is what I call a real upgrade. Compared to the S4, the S7 is faster in all applications (from a restart to opening the camera, launching any app.

Great phone

I had an old S5 that was getting slower by the minute, and I couldn't afford a new S9. So I ordered this S7 and I am very pleased with the phone. The storage, the life of the battery, the new features, everything is great. Really happy I made this purchase.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Review

Some may still not prefer the TouchWiz UI, and I can sympathize with that. But fortunately, it's not as bad as before. Also, the curved edges and slippery glass back don't make for the most ergonomic phone design. Our recommendation is to slap on a case and you're set.
