The Galaxy S6 is the best-designed phone Samsung has ever created, and its interface is a true step ahead of the Android pack.
Pros:
- Elegant and premium build
- Gorgeous display
- Better camera features and performance
- Much-improved fingerprint reader
- Quick charging
- Supports both wireless charging standards
Cons:
- No longer waterproof
- Non-removable battery
- No memory expansion
- Gets noticeably hot when pushed

With the Galaxy S series losing steam ever since the Galaxy S4, Samsung needed a dramatic change in order to make a comeback in the flagship market, overrun by better looking, and sometimes even better performing devices.
Pros:
- Metal construction brings a better look to an accessible form factor
- Excellent Quad HD 5.1-inch screen
- Exynos 7420 is proving itself as full replacement to Snapdragons
- Loud bottom mounted speaker
- 16MP camera performs very well in all but the dimmest lighting conditions

Cons:
- No longer waterproof
- Lack of expandable storage
- Battery not replaceable
- Battery life average - just over one day with typical usage
- Camera sticks out and can get damaged somewhat easily

With a better battery this would be a five star phone as it certainly ticks every other major box and then some, but even as things stand it's very close. If you're a Samsung fan you won't be disappointed and if you're not this might be the phone to convert you.

Forget the iPhone 6 , the Samsung Galaxy S6 is here. Or that's what the South Korean gadget giant wants you to think anyway. This is Samsung's lead Android phone for 2015. If it doesn't sell 50 bazillion or more, the money men will not be pleased.
Pros:
- Until now, Samsung has made almost exclusively plastic phones
- Pay £500 and you'd still end up with a phone that feels a bit cheap
- Not so with the Galaxy S6
- Its front and back are Gorilla Glass 4, the sides aluminium
- 100 per cent premium stuff.
Cons:
- Samsung is out to wring as much money from the Galaxy S6 as possible
- The key strategy here is to take out the memory card slot so that if you want enough storage for plenty of music and films, you'll have to upgrade to either the 64GB or 128GB model
- And they don't come cheap.
