If we count the most anticipated Samsung Galaxy S phones till date, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge would be the one, no doubt. But there's nothing hyped about it. The phone has been built from scratch, says Samsung, its one-of a kind design inspiring to keep everything new to the device.

One of a kind design; Ultra slim, light and ergonomic; Android L refreshed TouchWiz interface; Blazing fast camera; fingerprint unlock

Avaerage battery backup; No expandable storage; Heats up

If the "Next big thing" ads weren't clearer, Samsung has always wanted its Galaxy S to be an iPhone. Premium, desirable and something people aspire to buy. The Galaxy S series was aspirational indeed, and was often ahead of the iPhone in many departments, except for the ones related to "premium".

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Review: In Good Shape

The Galaxy S6 Edge takes everything great about the excellent Galaxy S6 and puts it in a more elegant--and more expensive--package. Here's our review.

Gorgeous design; Spectacular QHD display; Exceptionally fast performance; One of the best cameras on the market

No water or dust resistance; Battery life is average for this class; Front-facing camera is too; Curved screen has little practical value

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is certainly a breath of fresh air when it comes to offering something different to your average smartphone. The step up in build quality is quite obvious and the range of onboard features is excellent.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge

Before its identity was leaked a few short days before the official debut at Mobile World Congress , the world thought the Galaxy S6 edge would be Samsung's stand alone flagship.

Eye-catching form factor; Solidly constructed; Impressive processor and camera performance

Very expensive; Curved edges makes handling difficult

Samsung Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge

Since the release of the Galaxy S5, Samsung has been restyling itself to better compete in the current market. We've seen its new design-focused philosophy coalesce with each new product launch, culminating in the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.

Fingerprint scanner; Performance; Photo quality (Sony sensor); Screen

No microSD support; Non-removable battery; Price; Rear camera lottery; Worse battery life than the S5 in heavy workloads

But with mountains of power, an amazing camera, a premium design, an improved interface and the best and most unique screen we've ever seen on a phone it sure comes close. If Samsung can make the curved screen as useful as it is eye-catching then the S7 Edge could be truly formidable.

+ Unique design; + Very powerful; + Brilliant camera

- Very expensive; - Mediocre battery; - Curved edges dont too much
