Every year Samsung and co. do their best to convince us we need to spend yet another £500 on a shiny new phone. This year's big attraction is curves. Alongside the normal Galaxy S6 sits the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

I'm not going to pretend to be a cell phone guru on this, just an fyi. I know nothing about operating systems or fancy functions that people tend to look for with phones. But I will share what I like about it. So here goes, in layman's review. This is my first "fancy" cell phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is a radical phone. After a tepid response to 2014's Samsung Galaxy S5, the Korean giant had to do something special to stand out and get back to the top of its game. The "standard" Galaxy S6 , with its new metal build, is an impressive design push for the flagship range.

So-so battery life; no wireless charger in the box; no microSD; limited edge functionality compared to Note Edge; slow shutter speeds can be a problem; expensive

Samsung has really turned around the build of its phones; Its old plastic models felt a bit cheap, but the Galaxy S6 Edge is one of the snazziest-feeling phones made; In the world; Ever.

Pretty much everything is better than last year's Samsungs in the Galaxy S6 Edge; However, that old Samsung software bloat is still here; You can get rid of some of it, but being lumbered with the Samsung Apps store can leave a bitter taste in the mouth.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 EDGE are now official and this is our first look at the two devices. But were they worth the wait?

Just upgraded from an iPhone. Have to say, I was debating between the S6 Edge and Blackberry Priv. While both phones offer awesome features, the S6 Edge offers a superior experience and greater internal specs that really allows for a greater user-interface experience.

Now Samsung is peddling an elegant new smartphone that has been designed from the ground up, hence the name project Zero. Right now a lot is hanging on the fate of the new Galaxy S6 and S 6 Edge and if the stares I have been getting are anything to go by Samsung has a lot going for it especially...

The battery should be bigger but if it was the design of the device would go out the door; Much has been written about the lack of microSD card support and the now-fixed in place battery.

I have had my S6 Edge for a little over 2 years now. I have absolutely LOVED this phone from the very begging. The curved edges and applications are unique and fun to play with. The design was flawless in my opinion and fits perfectly in my hand.
