Galaxy S6 Edge review

Samsung has enjoyed iron-clad control of the Android smartphone market over the past few years, but many people have recently accused the firm of resting on its laurels. This accusation gained momentum in 2014 when Samsung released what in many people's minds was its dullest handset to date, the...

Galaxy S6 Edge

THE GALAXY S6 EDGE will be seen by many as an expensive gimmick given that it's over £100 more expensive than the regular Galaxy S6 , while others will see it as Samsung pushing the boundaries of design, and trumping its rivals by bringing something new to the smartphone market.

"Real experience"

Feel and Look I feel excited that I can finally get a phone that nearly suits my liking. First, I believe that this is the best Smartphone that has been made to date. It is so much better than the standard Samsung Galaxy 6 and other Smartphone's I have used.

high perfomance; useful for business

low battery

Not bad, very good smart features and extremely fast charging . The curved features add good looks. Camera has good resolution but needs stability controlled. Gorilla glass is awesome but very slippery which is its own design flaw.

Design From the looks of it, Samsung seems to be listening to its critics and the consumers what with use of newer, arguably better, materials on both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Both the smartphones have all-glass front and back panels with a metal trim running along the edges.

Spectacular Android

I purchased this phone a month ago as a replacement for my Sony Z2. Although it has a smaller screen I am not disappointed with the operating system running as fast as it does. Battery life is dismal I have to charge at least once during the day and again while I sleep.

bought it for my wife and it worked fine, but recently

bought it for my wife and it worked fine, but recently, my son came home for a visit and noticed a clump of dead pixels. i never saw it, but my wife said she's noticed it from the beginning, but just assumed that it was part of the phone.

Review: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

At the core, the Galaxy S series design hasn't changed much. However, it's the curved edge glass that makes this phone look futuristic. This unique aspect also makes the device feel thinner than it actually is.

Premium construction; Fancy Edge screen; AMOLED panel offers vibrant colours; Compact than most 5.1-inch phones; Excellent performance

Costs more than a bike; Edge screen isn't really useful; Battery life could have been better
