About a year ago, we were in a similar spot. We had the , rand were comparing it to rivals from LG, Motorola, Apple, and Sony (just to name a few). Twelve months have passed, and as fate would have it, we've got yet another pair of Galaxy phones in the labs.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is the best Android smartphone , and the S6 Edge is an even prettier version of the Editors' Choice winner. So why doesn't it get the same hearty recommendation?

THE GALAXY S6 EDGE will be seen by many as an expensive gimmick given that it's over ￡100 more expensive than the regular Galaxy S6 , while others will see it as Samsung pushing the boundaries of design, and trumping its rivals by bringing something new to the smartphone market.

Samsung's Galaxy S flagships have always been the Android devices to beat with top of the line hardware and high definition display ratios. But there's been one constant crib – Samsung's plastic fetish.

Not bad,very good smart features and extremely fast charging . The curved features add good looks. Camera has good resolution but needs stability controlled. Gorilla glass is awesome but very slippery which is its own design flaw.

A new breed of Galaxy flagship has gone on sale with the S6 Edge. It is the first smartphone in the world to have its screen curve on both sides, introducing some features of note as a result and redefining what was previously possible in smartphone design.
