The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a beautiful smartphone, one of the most attractive but the design has flaws such as sharp edges. While a non-removable battery is an inevitable outcome, we're surprised about the lack of waterproofing and a microSD card slot. Hardware is strong with a gorgeous screen, fast processor and great all-round camera. The key point here is that while dual edge display sounds like an amazing innovation it has very limited in functionality so simply isn't worth the extra money compared to the regular Galaxy S6.

With the Galaxy S6, Samsung's created something very special. With the Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung's created something very pretty, but substantially less special. Over at the ABC's Technology+Games site, I've written up a rather exhaustive (and exhausting) review of both. So go and read it. Now?

Don't be fooled by Samsung's functionality pitch-the edge design doesn't add anything to the experience. That said, while the Galaxy S6 is a handsome phone, the S6 Edge is the real stunner, and it's still every bit as impressive as its flat counterpart.
