With the Galaxy S6, Samsung's created something very special. With the Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung's created something very pretty, but substantially less special. Over at the ABC's Technology+Games site, I've written up a rather exhaustive (and exhausting) review of both. So go and read it. Now?

Samsung has lead the Android market with its Galaxy S line of mobile phones for a number of years now, producing one of – if not the – top-selling mobile handsets on the market. If the "Next big thing" ads weren't clearer, Samsung has always wanted its Galaxy S to be an iPhone. Premium, desirable and something people aspire to buy. The Galaxy S series was aspirational indeed, and was often ahead of the iPhone in many departments, except for the ones related to "premium".

- One of a kind design
- Ultra slim,light and ergonomic
- Android L refreshed TouchWiz interface
- Blazing fast camera
- fingerprint unlock
Cons:
- Avaerage battery backup

- Heats up

The total solar eclipse 2017 is fast approaching. August 21 marks the first total solar eclipse in the US in 38 years. The last one occurred on February 26, 1979. On August 21, the moon will cross paths with the sun, causing a total solar eclipse for part of the US.

Samsung Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge
Since the release of the Galaxy S5, Samsung has been restyling itself to better compete in the current market. We've seen its new design-focused philosophy coalesce with each new product launch, culminating in the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.
Pros:
- Fingerprint scanner ? Performance ? Photo quality (Sony sensor) ? Screen
Cons:
- No microSD support ? Non-removable battery ? Price ? Rear camera lottery ? Worse battery life than the S5 in heavy workloads

It's tough to call a winner between the iPhone 6S and Galaxy S6 Edge. Samsung's dual-display smartphone wins on specs with a higher resolution display, better camera and bigger battery, but it remains to be seen whether it will outperform the iPhone 6S in the real world. µ

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Smartphone Review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is better than its predecessor, the Galaxy S5, in some points: it is thinner, has a better frontal camera, and faster CPU. But it also has some throwbacks, like the USB 2.0 connection and the fact it is not water resistant.

- Crisp screen with very high resolution
- Slim and light
- Great design
- Excellent performance
- 5 MP front camera
- 16 Mp rear camera
- Capture videos at 4K or at Full HD with 60 fps
- Supports 4G LTE
- Supports NFC
- Fast battery charge
- Supports unlocking with fingerprint
Cons:
- Expensive (on unlocked versions
- Does not support memory card
- Not water resistant as its predecessor
- Offers USB 2.0 connection
- and not USB 3.0 as its predecessor
