Review: Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone
Samsung's latest and greatest smartphone, the Galaxy S4 has landed in Australia to a huge amount of marketing fanfare - the kind required to make it stand out in an increasingly crowded market that's populated with some pretty amazing devices. Was it worth the wait?

Samsung Galaxy S4 review
The Galaxy S4 showcases the best and worst of Samsung, featuring a great display, speedy processor and number of useful productivity apps that are let down by poor build quality, battery life and a bloatware-infested Touchwiz user interface.
Pros:
- Great display
- fast
- some useful software additions
Cons:
- Poor build quality
- Touchwiz is full of bloatware
- battery could be better

Very, very impressive: Samsung's Galaxy S4 reviewed
Samsung has been on a winning streak lately, producing some top-notch handsets and winning acclaim around the world. The newest model in the four year strong Galaxy range has certainly been hyped up, and this handset now grabs almost as much attention as Apple's coveted iPhone.
Pros:
- Very fast performer
- Two days battery life possible from a 4G phone is excellent
- Fast virtual keyboard
- Works as a remote control
Cons:
- Unique camera modes aren't easy to use
- Finger-less touch modes need a lot of work
- Still a very plastic phone
- Can't change the bottom icon dock

Samsung Galaxy S4 Review
The is so powerful and offers such great performance, that you feel it should be a bigger device. It does all that the S III does, in a smaller package. And it brings more to the table with useful and fun extra features. It's a thrilling insight into the future of smartphones.
Pros:
- Bigger and better screen
- exciting features
- great snapper
- excellent battery life
Cons:
- There are so many options they can be overwhelming
- design is similar to the S III
- plastic body may not be to everyone's taste

Last week saw the launch in Australia of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 , and let me tell you, they are absolute hen's teeth at the moment. Unless you've pre-ordered , your chances of getting your hands on one within the next few days (at least) are pretty slim.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Review: Good, Not Best
Since it arrived last year, the Galaxy S III has been the world's best-selling, non-Apple smartphone. An impressive feat, but of course, this only builds expectations for the sequel, as does Samsung's Megatron-sized hype-machine.

Samsung Galaxy S4 review
The simple truth is that the Galaxy S4 and high-end rivals the HTC One and iPhone 5 are all excellent, highly recommended phones. The One and iPhone 5 have stronger design points of view with focused, flagship features. The HTC One is about Blinkfeed, Watch, and Zoe.
Pros:
- A blinding number of features
- Incredibly fast
- Ships with Android 4.2.2
- Relatively small for its display size
Cons:
- Plastic body
- Low light photo performance isn't so hot

Samsung has done an exceptional job the past few years building interest and recognition for their Galaxy-branded smartphones. The fervor isn't quite on the level of Apple's iPhone launches, but if the attendance of their " Samsung Unpacked " event at Radio City Music Hall and the buzz on-line for...

Review: Samsung Galaxy S4
The list of cool things the Galaxy S4 can do is astonishing. Right out of the box, without downloading a single app, you can perform a plethora of magic tricks. It follows your eyes, and it will pause a video if it senses you looking away.
Pros:
- Everything you loved about the S III, but more of it
- Big battery lasts all day
- Super AMOLED 1080×1920 screen is one of the sharpest you can buy, and it uses the new, more durable Gorilla Glass 3
- MHL 2.0 port lets you connect to an HDTV
- Crisp daylight photos.
Cons:
- Samsung's software is big bag of "why?" Construction is cheap, and there's nothing exotic or inspiring about the hardware design
- Camera software is kludgy, and low-light shots get noisy quickly
- Pricing varies widely (see above) but leans toward expensive
