The Galaxy S3 is powered by Samsung's Exynos quad-core 1.4GHz processor, which is better than the previous rendition. It features a 4.8 Amoled HD screen. The screen makes it easier to watch videos and do everything you love. It comes is a variety of colours which include marble white, garnet red, and pebble blue. The battery last a long time and with the 2G phone, talk time can be up to 21 hours without having to recharge it. With the 3G phone, one can talk for 11 hours without needing to charge the phone.

S-Voice is a creative new feature, which allows users to control their phone through a voice recognition systems. Now, Samsung Galaxy S3 GT can ask their phone pertinent questions.

The best part is that the phone tracks your eyes, which means that the phone won't dim or turn off while you are looking at it. This is an excellent new user friendly feature.

One of the top features is direct call. No longer do users need to hit the call button. They can hold the device to their face and the number will be automatically dialed.

Smart Alert is another excellent featureon the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 16GB. This 8MP camera comes with a 20 shot burst mode, which helps to deliver the best photo.

Another highlight of the Samsung Galaxy S GT is Face Zoom and Slide Show. Simply double tap the face to zoom and the automatic slide show will begin.

For those who enjoy social networking, you will love the camera integration. With this camera, pictures can be tagged automatically. Furthermore, there is the ability to send images to people who are in the photos. This app is called Buddy Photo Share. Finally, groups tag allows users to tag multiple people at once.

With this phone, you will get S-Beam which allows files to be transferred at high speeds. File transfer can be completed with NFC or WiFi Direct. All Share Play and Cast allows users to share what is on their phone to a television and use their phone as a remote.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Camera Review

The Samsung Galaxy S III is a great smartphone with a comprehensive imaging feature set including a customizable camera user interface, manual control over white balance, exposure compensation and various digital filters and effects. Operation is very quick with a responsive AF and very fast shot-to-shot times but the S3 lacks a physical shutter button and fine image detail in low light not quite up with the best in class.
Pros:
  • Fast operation and almost non-existent shutter-lag
  • Fast AF
  • Reliable focus and metering
  • Good quality HD video
  • Comprehensive imaging feature set
  • Manual control over ISO and exposure compensation
  • Efficient HDR mode
  • Customizable camera app UI
  • Good array of retouching options in the Gallery app
  • 4.8 inch screen great for composing images
• New image sharing options
Cons:
  • No physical shutter-button
  • Strong noise reduction and sharpening create 'mushy' low-contrast detail
  • Soft low-light images
  • Slightly unintuitive menu structure
  • Lack of shutter speed indication limits usefulness of manual ISO capability
  • Unreliable white balance when using flash in mixed light situations

Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE review Review

The Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE has more memory than the original S3, as well as a new titanium hue and support for fast 4G data. Although 4G data speeds are very impressive however, the phone and its associated 4G contract are expensive, and battery life suffers too.
Pros:
  • Fast data speeds over 4G
  • Stunning screen
  • Small improvement in performance over standard S3
  • Jelly Bean is faster and slicker than ICS
  • Good camera
Cons:
  • Short battery life
  • Very expensive
  • Outperformed by the cheaper Google Nexus 4

It may not be quite so scorchingly beautiful as the iPhone 5 or the HTC One X and One X+, but the Samsung Galaxy S3 4G is a worthy update six months on from the original. It's packing (nearly) the latest software, and if you've got those super speeds where you live, you'll reap the benefits.
Pros:
  • It's a Samsung Galaxy S3
  • You don't need us to tell you that this is the big daddy of Android phones
  • Its design hasn't been changed in anyway, and it's scorchingly, shockingly fast.
Cons:
  • While the Samsung Galaxy S3 remains sturdily built, it doesn't have quite the same premium feel to it as the unbelievably light iPhone 5, or the beautiful, curved HTC One X line
  • It's just a piece of plastic, and design aficionados may not be too happy with that.

Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE Review

Samsung has not changed a lot from the original Galaxy SIII apart from of course the addition of 4G support. However, the Galaxy S3 LTE is still one of the best handsets of 2012.
Pros:
  • Really sharp, colourful display
  • Snapper is crammed with features
  • Quad-core processor
  • support for 4G
Cons:
  • S-Voice is disappointing
  • Few updates from first Galaxy S3

Samsung Galaxy S III LTE (GT-I9305)

The regular Samsung Galaxy S III got 4.5 stars, and there's nothing inherently worse about this phone. But with the additional features being modest and the price higher it doesn't feel like the best way to spend your money.
Pros:
  • Same great formula from the original
  • fast mobile data
  • slightly improved hardware
Cons:
  • Incredibly expensive
  • no extra internal storage options
  • battery sub-par for 4G

Not that great

I went from my iPhone 4 and thought I'd try out the s3. If you like the sorta of open source tech stuff then you will enjoy this phone. However the build quality isn't there yet. It's all plastic and feels cheap for the price.
