The Galaxy S3 is powered by Samsung's Exynos quad-core 1.4GHz processor, which is better than the previous rendition. It features a 4.8 Amoled HD screen. The screen makes it easier to watch videos and do everything you love. It comes is a variety of colours which include marble white, garnet red, and pebble blue. The battery last a long time and with the 2G phone, talk time can be up to 21 hours without having to recharge it. With the 3G phone, one can talk for 11 hours without needing to charge the phone.

S-Voice is a creative new feature, which allows users to control their phone through a voice recognition systems. Now, Samsung Galaxy S3 GT can ask their phone pertinent questions.

The best part is that the phone tracks your eyes, which means that the phone won't dim or turn off while you are looking at it. This is an excellent new user friendly feature.

One of the top features is direct call. No longer do users need to hit the call button. They can hold the device to their face and the number will be automatically dialed.

Smart Alert is another excellent featureon the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 16GB. This 8MP camera comes with a 20 shot burst mode, which helps to deliver the best photo.

Another highlight of the Samsung Galaxy S GT is Face Zoom and Slide Show. Simply double tap the face to zoom and the automatic slide show will begin.

For those who enjoy social networking, you will love the camera integration. With this camera, pictures can be tagged automatically. Furthermore, there is the ability to send images to people who are in the photos. This app is called Buddy Photo Share. Finally, groups tag allows users to tag multiple people at once.

With this phone, you will get S-Beam which allows files to be transferred at high speeds. File transfer can be completed with NFC or WiFi Direct. All Share Play and Cast allows users to share what is on their phone to a television and use their phone as a remote.

Samsung Galaxy S III review

The GS III is an all-rounder of a superphone, but strong competition on the Android scene will stop it reaching the heights of its predecessor.
Pros:
  • Big and beautiful AMOLED display
  • Powerful
  • future-ready processor
  • MicroSD slot and long-lasting battery
  • Class-leading camera
Cons:
  • TouchWiz interface feels tired
  • Design is perhaps too safe

Samsung Galaxy S III (MetroPCS) Review

The Samsung Galaxy S III is the best phone for a network that's on its way out. The Samsung Galaxy S III is MetroPCS's best smartphone, although you'll pay a high up-front price for this quality. MetroPCS's version of the Galaxy S III brings 4G LTE speed and great tricks like Wi-Fi calling and Google Wallet with NFC. It's good stuff, and we're giving it the Editor's Choice for objectively being the finest phone on MetroPCS's network. But it's also $499, and with MetroPCS potentially switching its focus to GSM in six months, I can't help but wonder if there are even better devices coming down the pike then. The big issue here is T-Mobile's impending purchase of MetroPCS, which would take effect in mid-2013. On day one of the merger, the combined company will start selling T-Mobile-compatible phones and shift its focus to folding the MetroPCS network into T-Mobile's. CDMA phones like the GS3 wouldn't stop working. LTE coverage and speeds will actually get better as they join T-Mobile's new LTE network, and as MetroPCS's CDMA voice network slowly gets turned do...
Pros:
  • Most powerful smartphone on MetroPCS
  • Excellent call quality
Cons:
  • Expensive

Samsung Galaxy S III (Cricket Wireless) Review

The Samsung Galaxy S III is still one of the world's best smartphones, and available from Cricket Wireless at an unusually low price. The world's top Android smartphone is now available at a very low price without a contract. Cricket Wireless's innovation with its Galaxy S III phone isn't in technology—this is the same Galaxy S III that millions of people around the world love—but in its price. At $379.99 when it's on sale, Cricket's Galaxy S III beats other no-contract deals by more than a hundred bucks. That's enough to earn it our Editors' Choice award for smartphones on Cricket. Differences on CricketBy now, the Galaxy S III is a well-trodden road, and Cricket's unit is physically identical to MetroPCS's model. Read our review of the MetroPCS device to learn more.  The software build is a bit different, featuring some persistent Cricket bloatware, but that shouldn't be enough to dissuade you. Cricket left Samsung's Game Hub, Media Hub, S Memo, S Suggest, and Samsung Apps stores intact. It added an account manager and some dumb redundant storefront and "mobile browser" links. But as I said, it's not a big dea...
Pros:
  • Excellent screen
  • Fast processor
  • High-quality camera
  • Will get more features as time goes on
Cons:
  • Android 4.1 not yet available at time of review
  • Cricket's 4G coverage is very limited
