Samsung Galaxy S22 5G (256GB, Pink Gold) - Excellent review
Ahead of today's Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event, Samsung had teased the introduction of "the most noteworthy S series device we've ever created," and had even been accepting reservations , with a $50 credit serving as an incentive for doing so.
Samsung Galaxy S22 hands-on review: pick of the slim phones
Samsung’s sensible smartphones for 2022
Samsung Galaxy S22 5G (256GB, Pink Gold) - Excellent review
- Gorgeous display, good battery, stellar video capabilities
- Low-light photos could be better
- smaller Galaxy S22 doesn't have Wi-Fi 6E and Ultra Wideband support
Samsung Galaxy S22 5G (256GB, Pink Gold) - Excellent review
At a time when Google is battling non-stop bugs plaguing the Pixel 6 series , the Galaxy S22 shines. Samsung took a tried and true design, packed in the latest flagship processor, and made an Android smartphone that I could recommend to almost anyone. But, unfortunately, it’s not perfect.- Best-in-class performance, Premium hardware, Fantastic cameras
- Battery life could be better, Slower wired charging, No Wi-Fi 6E or UWB
Samsung Galaxy S22 5G (256GB, Pink Gold) - Excellent review
The Galaxy S22 isn't a huge improvement or departure from last year's phone, but just like an "S-year" iPhone, Samsung has tweaked and elevated all the phone's most critical components.
Samsung Galaxy S22 (256GB, Phantom White) AU - Pristine review
Superceded by the S23 in Samsung’s flagship S series, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is now available for mid-range prices as last years entry-level model. Does this place it among the best mid-range phones available ? Find out in our review by expert Joshua Waller.
Battery life is non-existent
I always turn my new phone on battery saving mode. Even on battery saving mode and using my phone for just browsing and social media (no games), the longest the battery life it can get is 1.5days. The camera though is great, but all the positive aspects of the phone are useless if you have to charge so often.
Samsung Galaxy S22 revisited: Is it still worth buying in 2023?
With the Samsung Galaxy S22 5G there seems to be a change, a shift in pace that can cause heartaches to Samsung fans who want to move on. In this in-depth review of the Samsung Galaxy S22, we are going to take a look at the introductory flagship that made me toss and turn.- Really nice to look at, Great display, Adequate performance, Excellent cameras, The selfies are just right, Four years of OS updates and five years of security patches
- Dysfunctional shape, Heats up easily, 3700 mAh is not enough, Very slow charging, Few changes from the S21
Samsung Galaxy S22 review: Little ambitions
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is exactly what most people expect from a premium handset, even if it's a little too easy to want more. It's as defined by its compact size as it is a distinct lack of surprises.- Smart camera improvements, Pocket-friendly form-factor, Ticks all the boxes
- Lacks high-end display features found in Ultra, Struggled with more demanding games, Does little to stand out from other premium handsets
