The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a well-made evolution of its predecessor with a great design refresh. The new OLED display is capable of supporting a high resolution and a high adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate at the same time, and it is also the brightest display that we have ever seen in a smartphone.
Pros:
- extremely bright OLED display
- 120 Hz and WQHD+
- high system performance
- good camera setup
- Wi-Fi 6E
- dual SIM with 5G and eSIM
- good call quality
- S Pen support
Cons:
- storage not expandable
- VHT160 Wi-Fi not particularly fast or stable
- games are FPS-bound
- missing Bluetooth audio codecs
- 5G without mmWave

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G (512GB, Black) - Excellent review
Despite the obvious missed opportunity that is excluding the S-Pen, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a nice and big phone that feels like it’s made to reward long-time Samsung owners.
Pros:
- Great feeling: slick yet well made, Lovely screen, Excellent performance, Fast 5G, Water resistant, Wireless charging, Supports Galaxy Note pens, making it kind of like a Note with the heart of an S21
Cons:
- Battery life can be hit and miss, Camera is good, but doesn't beat the iPhone 12 Pro Max, Camera can be slow to respond at times and deliver soft images, S-Pen doesn't come with the phone, despite supporting it, Expensive

It's big, powerful and very capable. If you're after the very best Samsung Galaxy S21 model and money is no object, the Ultra is the one for you. It's a big upgrade over the S20 Ultra, fixing the focus issues and improving battery life.
Pros:
- Great screen thanks to WQHD+ and 120Hz
- Much-improved design with an attractive finish
- Far more versatile camera than the iPhone 12 Pro Max
Cons:
- Expensive
- with many cheaper phones offering the same features
- Big and heavy
- No charger included

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G offers not only a 3x telephoto lens, but also a 10x telephoto lens. As long as you don't use the additional digital zoom, then results can be very good.
