Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Navy) AU - Excellent review
While the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition perhaps isn’t the best example of a ‘lite’ phone we’ve seen, it’s still a great choice for plenty of people who were interested in the standard Galaxy S20 but found that handset a little too expensive.- Can take great pictures, Powerful processor, Vibrant color options
- Not very ‘lite’ in price, Cheap-feeling design, Battery life feels lacking
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G review: All things nice
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is a smartphone that will end up pleasing most people. The phone has a lot going for it — reliable performance, bright and vibrant display and good camera performance. It faces competition from the OnePlus 9 series but is capable enough to stand its ground.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G review: The 'flagship-killer' with a Korean touch
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE was launched as a kind of farewell to the Galaxy S20 line, replacing the "Lite" suffix of the previous generation. The model obviously came with some compromises compared to the original model, supposedly catering to its "fans" - hence the Fan Edition moniker.- 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865 SoC is still fast in 2021, Good battery life, Good quality plastic finish, IP68 certification, 3x optical zoom
- Not so fast charging, No headphone jack, 30x zoom is just a marketing gimmick
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Navy) AU - Excellent review
When Samsung chose the Galaxy S20 FE’s name (FE stands for Fan Edition), it did so because FE tested better...- Triple rear cameras
- 120Hz display
- strong performance
- great battery life
- simple design with a flat screen
- wireless charging with wireless powershare
- No headphone jack
- has a plastic back instead of glass
- optical fingerprint reader not quite as nice as more expensive ultrasonic models
- fast charger costs extra
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Navy) AU - Excellent review
Galaxy S20 FE has added an extra level of excitement to this year’s Samsung flagship – from finally bringing a Snapdragon processor to the device in the UK to adding a bunch of vibrant colour options. There’s tough competition from OnePlus 8T and Pixel 5 but the S20 FE is ready for the fight.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Navy) AU - Excellent review
Praise be to the mighty Samsung, for it has heard our pleas of “ good freakin’ grief, phones are getting too expensive .” In its infinite wisdom, it hath remade the Galaxy S20, flagship from earlier in 2020, with slightly cheaper materials and components.- Flagship hardware, Almost no compromise on features, Big, beautiful screen, Solid battery life
- Phone's a little big for my taste, Deep camera bump, Camera downgrade versus S20
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Navy) AU - Excellent review
The increasing cost of flagship smartphones over the last couple of years has put them out of reach for many consumers. We all knew it was coming in late 2018 when Apple priced the iPhone X at a cool $999.- Snapdragon 865 Performance for $500 or less on sale, Beautiful AMOLED display with lots of brightness, Solid battery life, Decent camera array with AI digital zoom
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Navy) AU - Excellent review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 is billed as the flagship phone experience for 2020, but if we’re being honest with ourselves, it’s likely “too much” phone for most people. The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE), arrived a few months after the standard bearer, bringing about most of the S20’s top features, but with...
