Samsung Galaxy S20 5G review
A few software foibles aside, the Galaxy S20 feels like the Goldilocks of flagship phones right now. Not too big. All the hardware you could want, but not too feature-packed. Just right. It delivers excellent battery life, a phenomenal display, blistering performance and superb image quality from a diverse set of cameras. It may not take the best photos, with the Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 claiming victory in certain scenarios, but it does a great job almost all of the time. Until someone else comes along and does it better, this is the Android handset to beat.- High refresh rate meets fantastic image quality
- Best hardware and build quality of any Android phone
- All-day battery life… usually
- 5G not worth it for many
- Camera image processing a bit strong
- RIP headphone socket

This phone is fantastic for the average to heavy user. 8GB Ram, Snapdragon's newest chipset, incredible screen, good battery, great bluetooth. I'm a heavy user, lots of YouTube, Audible, Pandora, some games, lots of photos and videos with editing, TONS of video calls for work.

The Galaxy S20 is the best phone in Samsung’s S20 series, and simply the best phone the company makes right now. It’s compact, powerful, and packs a versatile camera system that may not match the Ultra on zoom or detail, but it meets – and sometimes beats – it across the rest of the board.

In previous years, a recommendation for the regular sized Galaxy S normally came with a caveat about battery life. With the S20, that's not necessary: this is a great flagship phone, full stop.- Fantastic display that dominates the front, Great battery for a smaller phone, Faster charging, Lovely design, Camera system is versatile
- OneUI software has its frustrations, Agressive blur and shallow depth of field from camera, Fingerprint sensor not always reliable

But if you want a dependable, stylish flagship that does everything well and will see you through the next 2+ years without completely decimating your bank account, then the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G is a great choice.- Brilliant screen, Loads of power, Good cameras

Having used the Galaxy S20 as my daily driver for a little over a week now, and having previously tested the Galaxy S20 Ultra, I can safely say that the smallest, cheapest smartphone in the line up is absolutely the one to buy.- Compact feel, Subtle display curves, 120 Hz smoothness, Good multi-tasker, Fast charging
- Space Zoom is a gimmick, No 120 Hz at QHD+, Still expensive
Samsung Galaxy S20 Review
For most people, the Samsung Galaxy S20 is still one of the best Android phone available right now. Especially with the cheaper prices around. However, I would seriously consider the Galaxy S20 FE which has a Snapdragon 865 and better battery life, along with superior performance. There's also the OnePlus 8T which has a similarly ace display and the Pixel 5 if you're looking for something even smaller.- Lovely screen
- A perfect size
- Huge camera improvements over the S10
- The fingerprint scanner is poor
- 120Hz refresh rate drains battery
- It looks just like every other Samsung phone
