Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch Review
If you're wedded to Sprint and need a new phone, or are moving to Sprint, you have several excellent options. If you don't care about the operating system, then the HTC EVO 3D, the Motorola Photon 4G, the iPhone 4S, and the GSII are all incredibly capable devices.- Gorgeous Super AMOLED Plus display
- Incredibly light
- Very good battery life
- Screaming fast processor
- Resolution is low for such a large screen
- TouchWiz is uninspiring
Samsung Galaxy S II for AT&T review
The question every manufacturer of a non-Apple smartphone on AT&T has to answer is "why buy this over an iPhone?" For Samsung and most other Android handset makers, the answer is a big, bright screen, fast speeds, and all the Google integration you could want.- Big
- vibrant Super AMOLED Plus display
- Super fast processor
- Solid camera
- Display resolution is too low
- "4G" speeds are very slow
- Body feels cheap and breakable
Samsung Galaxy S2 – will it be a worthy successor
The Samsung Galaxy S was (and still is, actually) a very popular smartphone, and while its 1 GHz Hummingbird processor was already beaten on performance by the newer Snapdragon (found in the T-Mobile G2, for example), it still remains the phone with the fastest video graphics adapter, which is...

Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 Review
There is no question that the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 has an impressive spec sheet. Dual-core 1.2 GHz Samsung Exynos ARM Cortex-A9 system-on-a-chip (SoC) processor, Mali-400 MP graphics, 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, quad band 21 Mbps HSPA+, 8 megapixel camera with an LED flash.
Samsung Galaxy S II Review
In some ways we have been privileged enough to have had use of the Samsung Galaxy S II for the past few months and this has given us enough experience to categorically say from the off that this is the best Android Smartphone we have ever used.
Samsung Galaxy S2
Samsung's second attempt to dethrone the smartphone king – Apple's iPhone – has finally arrived. Talked about for months and previewed with much fanfare, Samsung's S2 is thin, spec'd up, and the flagship of Samsung's range this year. Is it enough to topple the iPhone juggernaut?- Samsung's overlay to Android has some very interesting features this time around
- Latest version of Android (Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- One of the thinnest and lightest phones we've ever felt
- Plastic casing makes it feel a little cheap
- Software can be buggy
Samsung Galaxy S II
highly priced with the above Cons.- Good Camera
- Bad Battery Life
- Bad Grip
- No m/call indication light highly priced with the above Cons
Samsung Galaxy S II (T-Mobile) review - huge screen, 1080p HD video for the win
The Samsung Galaxy S II for T-Mobile USA is a large, wonderful device. It is based upon the global edition of the GS2 that I reviewed some time ago, but a few of the original's components have been swapped out or upgraded - mostly to good effect.- Huge and colorful display
- thin design
- very fast
- great reception
- 1080p HD video
- large battery
- Boring design
- large pixels on the screen
- not the best low light focusing
