The Galaxy S10 sees Samsung reach new heights in the smartphone market. Everything is better, bigger and brighter!

Amazing AMOLED

The S10 features Dynamic AMOLED technology, which reduces blue light without compromising picture quality on its 6.1-inch screen. The resulting viewing experience is clear, sharp and vivid.

Samsung's best cameras ever?

The cameras, already so good on previous models, have advanced even more. The set up includes a 16 MP ultra-wide, a 12 MP wide angle and a 12 MP telephoto on the back, and 10 MP on the front for selfies. Highlights include the Ultra Wide Camera, for photos of cinematic quality and a field of vision beyond what your eye can see. The intelligent camera gives you brilliant results by automatically optimising your settings to perfectly reflect the scene.

Smarter Wi-Fi

It's not just the cameras that are smart. Intelligent Wi-Fi delivers faster speeds with Wi-Fi 6, which promises a reliable and secure connection every time, including public networks. When it switches to LTE it can hit awesome data speeds of up to 2.0 Gbps.

Play a better game

Samsung calls it a total game changer, with software and hardware engineered to give you performance-enhanced gaming without lag.

Fast and secure access

The S10 features a built-in fingerprint reader so you can be assured you can access your phone quickly and securely.

Mega storage and memory

With 128 GB of built-in storage and a 512 GB expansion slot, you'll have more than enough storage for an enhanced user experience. There's 8 GB of RAM memory available for this option.

Wireless PowerShare

This cool feature lets you share your power with selected devices by turning your Samsung S10 into a charging pad. Meanwhile, the 3,400 mAh battery is supported by wireless fast charging, as you'd expect from a phone of this pedigree.

A newer model Samsung Galaxy S20 5G SM-G981B 12GB 128GB was released in February 2020.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ Review

To me the key ingredients for a good phone would be the screen, the battery life, and the camera capability being a huge bonus. The Samsung Galaxy S10+ has all that, plus the great processing power available.

Samsung Galaxy S10 review: Messy decisions mar Samsung's best smartphone to date

The S10 feels like an evolution of the Galaxy formula that’s equal parts messy and necessary. It’s not quite the future, but it’s not far off either. Discounting the Note 7, Samsung’s misfires usually sit closer to the sub-optimal than the objectively terrible. If we’re being honest with ourselves, it’s been a fair few years since Samsung made a genuinely bad flagship smartphone.
Pros:
  • Incredibly slick software
  • Expensive feel-factor
Cons:
  • Camera isn't as good as Huawei
  • Battery life isn't longer

Samsung Galaxy S10 review

Is the S10 the most powerful smartphone around? Does it have the very best screen? Can it last the longest between charges? We're used to Samsung setting the gold standard for Android, so it's hard to believe the answer to all those questions is "no". Keen photographers will get excellent results (especially in low light) from a Google Pixel 3, or the Huawei P30 Pro. Plus, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P30 Pro have even greater stamina. A OnePlus 6T is much better value. But the S10 is an incredibly well-rounded Android on every other front. Handset prices have been creeping ever higher over the past few years, and £800 SIM-free is mighty pricey, but it does undercut the Apple iPhone XS by £200 and feels mo. That amount does mean it exists in a strange sort of middle ground, with the S10+ boasting a bigger screen and longer-lasting battery for only a little more cash, and the S10e being much more affordable with only a few minor concessions. Still, if you've got to have the best Samsung and arguably the best Android, yet don't see the point in twin selfie cameras or ridiculous zooming capabilities, the S10 is pretty much all the phone you'd ever need.
Pros:
  • Truly versatile three-lens camera
  • Gorgeous display and top-notch performance
  • Feature-packed in ways few rivals can match
Cons:
  • In-display finger scanner not perfect
  • Not the best battery life
  • Price hike makes the S10e a tempting alternative

The phone comes with a battery of 4100 mAh which supports fast charging through the wire and even through Qi wireless charging. You can use a 15W wired or wireless charger to charge the phone and since this phone runs on an 8nm chipset, the battery is amazing and it can easily get you through the...

Impressed

Having had an s5 for the past 4 years, upgrading to an s10 is a real treat. Easy to set up and transfer data etc from s5 (once I got a new nano SIM from telco), great size and look. Haven't tried the camera yet but I'm sure it'll be a huge improvement.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ Review

Switching from the Galaxy Note 9 to the Galaxy S10+ I like what Samsung has done with this series. Even with the hate or love it hole punch display this gives a great deal of screen real estate and by doing so shrinking the overall size as well.

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ Snapdragon & Exynos Review: Almost Perfect, Yet So Flawed

As we're wrapping up one of the biggest smartphone reviews to date, it's also the wrap-up for one of the most important devices in 2019.
