I was worried after the Note 7 debacle. Fortunately the Note8 has shown no signs of it's predecessor's mortal battery issue. It's good looking, fast, conveniently sized for the hand, and durable. Let me elaborate on durable: it survived a rotation through Fort Irwin National Training Center intact.

I picked up the Galaxy Note 8 a few weeks back on the T-Mobile, and I was surprised from my initial impressions, from the huge Infinity Display and excellent camera quality, to the feature filled Android version along with Samsung Experience UI.

Still a great flagship for 2018; 6GB RAM/64GB Storage; Expandable SD card; Quad HD Infinity Display; Dual 12MP Camera; Samsung Experience UI is improved

Weird fingerprint placement; Bixby button is a little annoying when pressed unintentionally

Fabulous camera, great video, excellent screen , fast processes, iris scan is great, finger print is fast, top notch personal and great business phone !

After a tricky year and a few lessons learned, the Note 8 is back to winning ways

Large; bright screen; Well built; Decent audio; with hi-res support; Great cameras; S Pen functionality is well integrated

Battery life could be better; Very expensive

Just weeks later, Samsung was forced to recall the smartphone after it was revealed, somewhat dramatically, that a dangerous battery flaw saw handsets explode, burn backsides and generally cause chaos on flights.

Eye-catching design, excellent display, performance and camera and, most important of all, it didn't go up in flames; Or, at least, it hasn't yet

Do you really need a device this big, that's awkward to operate one-handed? Bixby is also a work-in-progress and, oh, the price; The eye-watering price

Thankfully the small battery doesn't mean the battery life hit we thought it would. And, with the dual optical image stablisation the camera is pretty darn hot, too. There's so much to like about the Note 8 and while it's probably the best phone in Samsung's line up, you need to be sure you actually...

The Galaxy Note 8 sure is expensive, but the finest things in life don't come cheap. The reality is the price will likely have dropped a good hundred pounds by Christmas, and you'll possibly be looking to buy it on a contract anyway.

Bought this phone from online Argos, received it well on time on the first day of arrival for everyone in the UK. Everything run smoothly, fast charge, really deep colour screen based on my own setting, expended memory to 256gb as advert and battery last for 24 hours.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago at a discount as a new very customer. I've had note phones before so kind of knew what I was getting into. The phone has a 6.3" screen which is big even at today's standard but Samsung's new design language and infinity display makes it very slim and easy to hold.
