Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Dual review: Impressive all-rounder with a price tag to match
After launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in September 2015, Samsung eventually gave in and delivered to power users the Note 5 Dual SIM in January 2016. While the dual SIM variant did arrive a bit late, there is still plenty of time till the next Samsung Note smartphone arrives (around September)...
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the latest addition in the Galaxy Note Series. The Note 5 got a design makeover and the S-Pen comes with some really cool features that you wished its predecessors had. Galaxy Note 5 price starts from ?53,900.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the 5.7-inch smartphone successor to the Note 4 , arguably one of the standout phones of 2014. So it's somewhat surprising that Samsung has taken the decision not to bring its new phablet to the UK.- Sleek
- glass design
- Speedy overall performance
- Great camera
- Slimmer design makes it easier to hold in one hand
- S Pen experience not radically improved
- Smaller battery
- No micro SD card support or removable battery
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 review: the same but an awful lot better
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a phone (well, a phablet) that's much more iterative than we were expecting. It's the same phone as last year, in many ways, but with a new design that keeps it more in line with the all-conquering Galaxy S6 range from earlier in the year.- Nice design
- Good S Pen use
- Only as powerful as S6
- Battery life lower
I'm loving it so far
I've had the phone for a couple weeks and am loving it. It takes some getting used to for holding it since it is bigger, but I love how bright and crisp the images are. The camera takes spectacular pictures and that's without me adjusting any settings yet.
Switched from S7 edge to note 5. LOVE IT
This phone is a good size and still sports a flat sceeen. I had the S7 edge but it got expensive because I broke the screen 3 times. Wanted the note 7, but that whole battery thing is still being worked out.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 review
In 2015, Samsung released the Galaxy Note 5, a phablet that didn't have a global release. In the UK, you had to make do with the Galaxy S6 Edge+ instead, if you wanted a large Samsung phone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 review: still a big deal
The Galaxy Note 5 is a great device, both visually and physically. The reason it doesn't score a full five marks is because it seems that design was a higher priority than useful features like a microSD card slot, replaceable battery or the conferencing microphone that the Note 4 had.- Great display brightness
- Extremely fast
- quality camera
- Integrated stylus pen
- Ingenious handwriting recognition
- Lousy multi-tasking
- Poor sound quality
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Review
Samsung essentially started the large phone craze with their first Galaxy Note . It was an interesting device, combining a large display with a stylus in an unwieldly body, and many reviewers felt that the device's size would lead to poor sales.- Excellent, premium design crams a beautifully large display into a manageable body
- Performance and camera are just as good as the Galaxy S6
- The stylus experience is responsive and refined
- The extra size comes at a hefty cost
- No expandable storage or removable battery in a phone designed for power users
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Review
Priced at Rs 53,900 for the 32GB variant, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes at a premium pricing, but comparing the iPhone 6S Plus price , the Note 5 looks much more value for money. If you are looking to invest in a premium high end smartphone, the Note 5 is a good choice with great design and build,...
