Samsung Galaxy J6 Dual SIM SM-J600F 32GB
The Galaxy J6 is one of Samsung's latest additions to the budget phone market, and it's a very colourful addition indeed!
What a display!
The Galaxy J6 is all about making a bold impression thanks to vivid images and colour that go all the way to the edge. Put that down to Infinity Display, a 5.6" HD+ Super AMOLED screen and an 18.5:9 ratio, which makes for a big screen viewing experience.
Choose your colour
The J6 breaks the mould when it comes to appearances and gives you four colours to choose from. While the appearance stands out, the feel of the phone in your hand fits right in, with smooth curves and streamlined finishing adding to the comfort.
A versatile display
The Infinity Display is tailor-made for multitasking activities, including gaming, texting and browsing. With App Pair you can watch video and messenger simultaneously, giving this phone excellent credentials as a versatile device.
Late night selfies
A lot of the selfies we shoot are taken in the dark, but a harsh flash can lead to poor results. In the J6, clever flash adjustment means the image keeps its integrity even in darker settings.
Easy unlock
Just hold the to your face and, hey presto, it unlocks! Don't worry about security, as face recognition technology grants mobile access for you and you only, so your confidential data remains safe. Meanwhile, fingerprint scanning lets you log in to websites and apps for seamless multitasking.
More storage
Galaxy J6 comes with up to 15GB of Samsung Cloud storage, so all that content you create is kept safe and easily accessible.

Samsung Galaxy J6 review
Samsung may have made a bang with the Galaxy S9, S9 Plus and their dual aperture capabilities, but the Korean tech-giant has been losing it's market share in India continuously in the past two quarters.- Super AMOLED display
- Compact size
- Sturdy build
- Micro USB charging port
- 13MP rear camera
- Entry-level chipset
Once the market leader in the entry-level and mid-range smartphone segments, Samsung has been lagging behind for the past couple of years thank to the influx of extremely affordable devices from the likes of Xiaomi and others.
Since the in-pouring of Chinese smartphones in the Indian market, it has become difficult for the handset makers like Samsung, HTC and LG to make a dent in the mid-range smartphone segment.
- Good build quality
- Good display
- Good battery life
- Dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots
- Below-average cameras
- Lacks Ambient sensor and Notification LED
- No fast charging
Samsung Galaxy J6 Review: A Budget Galaxy A6 (2018)
In all honesty, it's hard to recommend the Galaxy J6, considering that it is almost similar to the more expensive Galaxy A6 (2018). While it may be a few thousand pesos cheaper, you get a plastic build, downgraded cameras, and several hardware compromises on the Galaxy J6.
Overall, the Galaxy J6 brings the much-needed refresh to the J-series with features like an Infinity Display, super AMOLED screen, Dolby Atmos Audio, Samsung Pay Mini, and Chat Over Video feature.
