Samsung has finally turned a corner with its Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which forego futuristic looks in favor of great 24-bit sound, head-tracked spatial audio and a design that fits comfortably.

The Buds2 Pro are fantastic. But the Momax powerbank is a waste. Just get a normal powerbank. It will not wireless charge a Samsung Watch or a Samsung Fold3 in its case. Even if the Fold3 is out of its case it is so hard to get it lined up to charge and a little movement will stop the charge. Even a Samsung S21 had the same results. If I had of brought the Momax powerbank on its own I would be asking for my money back but it came with the promotion.

We’ve now come to the second iteration of Samsung’s “Pro” earbuds — the $230 Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. It’s an awkward name, for sure (and that’s after you ignore the fact that Samsung actually calls them “Buds2 Pro”). But set that aside for a minute. Given that these live in the same world — and the same relative pricing category — as Apple’s AirPods Pro and Google’s Pixel Buds Pro, there’s a lot to live up to for the Buds 2 Pro.
