GREAT FOR CAMPING ETC BUT...
This is a pretty good device, but for the price it should have been fitted with a higher specification projector (certainly as this is the only viable reason that this device carries such a high premium).

Samsung Galaxy Beam Review
And here it is in our hands, one of the more notable handsets in recent memory, the pico projector-laden Samsung Galaxy Beam . We remember how excited we were in 2009 when we handled the first Samsung phone with built-in projector, the I7410 , and the next year when the first Beam made its way to...
Pros:
- Built-in 15 lumen pico projector
- Large capacity battery plus a spare one in the box
Cons:
- Camera pictures oftentimes come with a yellowish overcast

Pico projectors made the headlines a few years back, but then, who would have thought even these could actually be condensed into the size of a mobile phone? Thanks to Samsung, the concept of pico projectors that retain not only the shape and size but the capabilities of a handphone have...

Samsung Beam is a great buy for professional who need to give presentations on the go. This phone doubles up as a projector, is easy to carry and does not require any power or display cables. It is an excellent replacement for pocket projectors too. And as of now, has no viable alternative.

A cell phone with a built-in projector. Enough said.
I was in the market for a smart touch-screen phone, and I've been looking around for the past year or so. When the Samsung Beam came onto the market, I knew it was the phone for me. One of the best phones I have ever owned!
I used to work in a mobile phone store so used to the latest tech, so my expectation of a phone that's not top of the range was quite low. But this thing kept up with my galaxy note 2 and my s3 for almost everything. RAM a little low but only because I use so many apps on it.

A perfectly good droid AND a pocket TV
If you're looking for a razor-thin phone, bleeding-edge speed and the greatest camera, look elsewhere. This is a chunky mid-range performer with all the usual Android features.. a nice enough touchscreen, great sat nav, an average camera.
