I got this phone a year ago as an upgrade to my previous Samsung S4. Could not be more happier with this phone. Looks and feels just like a premium model. Easy to navigate, great pictures, good call quality with no loss of signal. I hope it lasts as long as my old phone which was 4 years.
Good Robust fast phone. Runs all apps no issues. Impressed with current battery times and the fast charging. I do have the rugged case as an extra think this may have a saved the screen from fumble fingers already... IP68 a must and used already.
It's a more affordable Galaxy S9 alternative, but you'll find better value at the price.
Bold screen; Fast camera
Poor GPU for the price; Just okay low-light photos; Limited storage
Since its arrival in 2014, the A series has been one of Samsung's most important products alongside their S smartphones. The South Korean manufacturer has decided not to launch replacements for its Galaxy A5 or the A3 (2017) this year, although the A3 will remain in the catalog and is now cheaper.
Design; Excellent Super AMOLED display; Front camera; IP68 certification; Battery life
Performance doesn't match price; 32 GB of storage; No Android Oreo
While all eyes are on the newly-launched Samsung Galaxy S9, the smartphone lineup of the South Korean manufacturer includes a plethora of other models that are at least worth a chance, especially because they seem to bring premium technology at a more affordable price.
Good mobile that holds relatively high performance. Have had it for half a year and it floats in excellent. The camera is good, but sometimes the images may look like the sharpness setting is too high. Good multitasking, and premium feel. Recommended!
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) succeeds the Galaxy A5 (2017) as the latest device in the popular Galaxy A Series. The €499 (~$615) price tag could prove to be unpopular though. We will find out in our tests whether Samsung can justify this ambitious price.
premium design; real Dual-SIM functionality; accurate GPS; water and dust proof; bright; well-tuned Super AMOLED display; good camera; fast charging
unable to uninstall pre-installed apps; PWM display flickering; internal storage not particularly fast; throttling under load
i took this phone February to replace my s5 fran8lly the phone is beautiful great batterry display strong WiFi fantastic cameras..the only problem i face is the Gsm reception the 2G is poor specially is you have wifi on i live in an area with a lot tall buildings around me so the signal was always...

bad receprion on Gsm specially if you have WiFi on .the call on open speakers is mediocre
Got the phone to replace S6 and I like it. Fingerprint scanner works better and in a good position on the back of the phone.
