So, do we think that the Galaxy A71 is a decent upgrade from its predecessor, the A70? Yes, absolutely. It retains the same screen size as the A70 but has leveled up in several aspects, such as its chipset, RAM, and overall look.

We highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy A71 especially if you are looking for a more premium phone but doesn’t want to spend as much as buying a flagship. It has a great screen, great build, good cameras, stable videos, decent battery life and also support for Android 10 and its next version.

Samsung’s Galaxy A series devices have been a big hit since the recent revamping. Last year threw up the A50 and A70 as very popular choices with smartpone buyers in many markets around the world. The Galaxy A71 is a follow-up to the A70 and hopes to gain the same appeal as its predecessor.

I bought this phone recently primarily for its great camera capabilities for its price point. The photos and videos from the phones camera are very beautiful .. So beautiful that they defy reality. Colors in the picture appear brighter than what human eye can see of the actual scene captured. One thing to note is that there is no continuous auto focus (what Samsung calls live focus) in video mode. Continuous auto focus is only in photo mode and there is no autofocus in selfie mode.
