The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is an easy recommendation if you’re not bowled over by the flashier flagships and their high prices.
Pros:
- Great screen
- Long battery life
- Years of support
- OIS is welcome
Cons:
- Design is a bit basic
- Secondary cameras aren’t good

Generally a very good phone.
Most features meet or exceed expectations. Great screen, good camera. Mostly quick and responsive. A little larger than I would ideally like.

Samsung Galaxy A52 review
Samsung's Galaxy A52 5G offers a good set of features at a mid-range (£/$350) price point. A distinctive chassis design with a nice matte finish to the backplate, IP67 dust/water resistance, a 3.5mm headset jack and 6GB of RAM plus 128GB of internal storage give it broad appeal, with dual SIM, 5G...
Pros:
- 120Hz Super AMOLED display, Distinctive design, IP67 rating for dust/water resistance, MicroSD card slot and 3.5mm headset jack, Good primary 64MP camera with OIS
Cons:
- Disappointing macro and depth cameras, Digital zoom only

Samsung Galaxy A52 review
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is an Android handset with an excellent main camera, it has a large display with a 120Hz refresh rate, water-resistance and a long-lasting 4,500mAh battery. Granted its performance won’t blow you away but you get what you pay for there.
Pros:
- 5G support, 120Hz FHD+ display, 64MP main camera is excellent
Cons:
- Thick design, 10x digital zoom is very grainy, Slower than expensive handsets

Samsung Galaxy A52 review
More premium. The Galaxy A52 5G is an updated version of one of the most successful Samsung smartphones. It comes with a price hike, which puts it above the 400-Euro (~$480) mark for the first time. Read our review to learn why it is still worth every cent.
Pros:
- bright 120-Hz OLED screen, high level of system performance, expandable storage, stable Wi-Fi and 5G, IP67 certification
Cons:
- camera system with no optical zoom, fewer accessories in the box, mediocre GNSS performance

It’s not the cheapest budget phone, but it will go the distance
Pros:
- Great screen with fast refresh rate, Good-quality stabilized main camera, Healthy device support with four years of security updates guaranteed
Cons:
- Plasticky body, Too many pre-downloaded apps and software with ads, Photos can look unnaturally saturated

Samsung Galaxy A52 review: High on style
With the Galaxy A52, Samsung is not trying to do something entirely different apart from revisiting the spec-sheets that have worked for the company. This is a reliable daily driver and the promise of software update for three years makes the deal sweeter.

Samsung Galaxy A52 review
The Galaxy A52 5G sweats on the details, with a fine 120Hz AMOLED display, an IP67-rated body, a competent OIS-laden camera and the promise of four years of security updates. There’s better value to be had, however, if not quite the same sense of security.
Pros:
- Excellent 120Hz AMOLED display, Decent camera with OIS, IP67 rating
Cons:
- Weak performance for the money, Unreliable fingerprint sensor, Uninspiring plastic design

Samsung Galaxy A52 review
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G isn’t going to blow you away with top-end specs or a remarkably affordable price, but it’s still a solid choice for a mid-range handset that can compete with the likes of the Google Pixel 4a.
Pros:
- Solidly built, A good display, Decent battery life
Cons:
- Mediocre power, Extra cameras are only okay, Lacks exciting features
