Samsung Galaxy A50 6GB 128GB
Samsung has recently released the A series of Galaxy phones, and the A50 has already become a standout in this more affordable range. There are many reasons why...
Easy to read display
A large display makes all the difference when it comes to reading what's on the screen, and for your viewing enjoyment. The Galaxy A50 certainly does everything right in that department with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display.
Famous Samsung cameras
Samsung cameras are always good, regardless of how much you pay, so you can expect photographic excellence in the A50. Three rear cameras consist of: 25MP, 5MP depth sensor and 8MP wide angle. On the front, sharp selfies are a given with a 25MP camera.
Cool and colourful
The overall design of the A50 has a prism-like iridescent quality with four colours to choose from, ranging from traditional black or white, through to something more vivid and distinctive in coral or blue.
Big on the inside
There are big things happening inside the A50 that keep it performing efficiently and smoothly. The Exynos 9610 chipset runs the latest Android 9.0 operating system, while memory and storage are just as impressive: 6GB and 128GB.
More battery power for your buck
The A50 has a big camera for midrange phone: 4000 mAh battery with fast-charge support.
A newer model Samsung Galaxy A51 4GB 128GB was released in January 2020.

Samsung Galaxy A50s
The Samsung Galaxy 50s is a feature packed mid-range smartphone with a huge 6.4-inch AMOLED display and 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, with Waterdrop notch above the screen. The Galaxy A50s is the upgraded version of the A50.
Good Mid-Range Device
Overall the phone performs well. It's not a flagship by any means, but it has most if not all mainstream features. The Exynos 9610 blows the doors off of the SD630/636 found in many other mid-range phones.- OLED Screen
- Comparatively fast chip set
- USB C
- Samsung ROM and Support
- Storage Capacity
- Camera and multimedia tools are mediocre
Samsung Galaxy A50 Review: A benchmark for the mid-range smartphones
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is a good phone at this price and ticks lot of right boxes. Vibrant Super AMOLED display, long-lasting battery, optimized UI, and capable chipset are rare features at this price.
Samsung Galaxy A50
The Galaxy A50 is one of eight(!) Galaxy phones that Samsung released this year -- a family that includes the Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, S10E, S10 5G , Galaxy Fold and the recently launched Note 10 and Note 10 Plus .- The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a solid camera
- an in-screen fingerprint reader
- a headphone jack and a long-lasting battery -- all at an affordable price
- The phone can be buggy at times
- its maximum video resolution is only 1080p and the speaker quality is tinny
Samsung Galaxy A50 Review: A Samsung Mid-ranger Worth Your Money
For the longest time, Samsung has stuck to its ideals. The Korean giant has often been rebuked for selling smartphones with sub-par internals at heftier prices but it seems the growing presence of Chinese phone makers in India has finally got the better of it.
Samsung Galaxy A50 review: Mid-range phone with attractive camera, powerful battery
Given the price point, the Samsung Galaxy A50 offers good features and decent value for money. The camera is fairly good, however, the in-display fingerprint reader is a tad slow, however, this may get resolved in the coming updates.

Brilliant camera!
I have had this phone for a couple of months now and I love the big screen. Also really love the camera - it takes terrific photos. My only issue with it is the location of the 'Hold' button when making a call. I keep putting people on Hold with my fat cheek without realising it.
Samsung Galaxy A50 review
There are better mid-range phones out there, but the Galaxy A50 is a great choice for those wanting an S10 without the flagship price.
