This memory is really fast, it transformed completely my laptop, and I haven't temperatura issues with it, but I recommended it more for heavy working than Gaming (witch is more useful a ssd tlc sata unit or a 970 evo). It is more durable than 970 evo, but it's also a bit slower and more expensive.

Lightning fast

A little on the higher priced side, but have used Samsung SSD's before and been very happy. This thing is lightning fast, and nice having a 5 year warranty, even though I'll probably not need it. It does get a little warm under heavy load, but I believe that is normal for these types of drives.

Very Rapid for a good price

This thing is quite expensive but well worth it as it's amazingly fast & also for a much better price than some other sellers. Glad I eventually bought one (with no regrets) & I don't doubt for minute that it will last for me many years & get used in my future gaming pc builds.

Great bit of kit

Brought this a few days ago, easy to install on your motherboard, only slight niggle is that the pc may not actually pick it up as it will need to be formatted. All in all great piece of hardware, keeps boots and such very speedy.

"Samsung SSD's are the best you can get if you can afford them"

Been using Samsung SSD's in my computers for some time. Had too many problems with other brands, especially Intel SSD's.

Samsung 970 Pro 512 GB

Samsung's 970 Pro flagship SSD offers incredible performance, especially when it comes to writes, where it tops the charts with up to 2.4 GB/s because of MLC flash. Reads are even faster at 3.5 GB/s. If only the SSD was more affordable: $200 for 512 GB is not exactly cheap.

Faster but you'll never notice

This is an expensive drive and even though it is worth it, there is no compelling reason to upgrade from any of the newer PCIe m.2 drives unless you want bragging rights or worship benchmarks.

As fast as advertised; The benchmarks don't lie; Bragging rights and showing off for all you techie friends; Actually, like all Samsung drives this is top of the line quality that works like blazes

You can't tell the difference between this drive and other top tier m.2 drives; I replaced a 256 gig 960 evo m.2 drive with this one and the computer isn't noticeably faster; Run the benchmarks and you can see it is even though the percent of increase isn't great.

Samsung 970 Pro 512GB

The Samsung 970 Pro is the Korean firm's latest attempt to maintain its position at the top of the SSD market – and, on paper at least, this drive is a barnstormer. Samsung's next SSD success may sound like a foregone conclusion after the last few years of dominance, but reality isn't that rosy.

Exceptional speed in all tests; Faster than the 960 Pro; Excellent endurance levels

Only minor gains over rivals; Expensive

Samsung SSD 970 Pro

Ultimately, the real-world performance differences between the SSD 970 Pro and competing drives like the WD Black NVMe are pretty minimal. Add in the SSD 970 Pro's limited capacity choices, and the result is that most consumers, even speed freaks like competitive gamers and pro video editors, should...

Extremely fast read and write speeds, constant across capacity; Excellent reliability ratings; Five-year warranty; Low power consumption; Hardware encryption

Expensive; Only two capacity options

SSD 970 PRO NVMe M.2 1TB

I see that the EVO version has the 2gb capacity. When will the 2gb for the PRO come out I apologize this is not a review but more of a question nevertheless I have no doubt this is a great product as I have owned 3 Samsung SSDs (2 of them NVMEs). Samsung is indeed a leader in this space.
