Likely the best SSD w/the worst warranty replacement policy
I was having issues and asked for the drive to be replaced. WD & Seagate have an advanced replacement where I give them a credit card, they ship me the replacement & I ship the old drive back. Samsung does not do this, this is their policy: We do Repair First procedure now.

I just got it for my laptop and it was really it to migrate everything with the Samsung migration software. And it is very fast : my laptop now boots in about 8-10 secs, which is great for me.

Really happy with this purchase
Just what the doctor ordered for my gaming laptop Lenovo Y50-70. The Crystal Disk Mark 5 and AS SSD scores are off the roof after enabling the RAPID and Over-provisioning function using Samsung Magacian (see attached pics). The SSD has catapulted the performance of my laptop.

Samsung SSD
Installed the 1TB 850 EVO as my factory hard drive was failing. Admittedly I dont really know what I'm doing here, but after gettting the proper SATA-USB3 cable the installation was fairly painless. My BIOS time is now less than 4Sec, Protools loads in probably less than 10sec.

A GREAT mSATA (5 YEAR Warranty)
My laptop had a 120GB mSATA, which was an upgrade and working fine. However, when I saw the price for this 250GB mSATA with a "5 YEAR" warranty, it just made logical sense to upgrade my laptop with this new SAMSUNG mSATA. My mSATA port is a SATA 3.0 port and this SAMSUNG mSATA is a speed demon.

Great deal for replacing mechanical hard drive
Installation was easy. Performance was greatly improved, most seen at startup and shutdown. Just order Item 9098819 to clone the old hard drive to the new hard drive. This item is a Universal SSD Cloning Kit for Win XP thru Win 10. It is suitable for anyone who can follow the on-screen directions.

Fast response
installed this on 2 different computer and it increased boot and load time of games from your standard hard drive. Windows 10 boots within 15 seconds from a complete power off state. Total load time with 20 background apps is about 30 seconds.

No issues, itu2019s exactly what you need
Out of the box, into the machine. Minimal fuss and it just works. It also delivers exactly what it says it will. Everyone should get an SSD, when you do you could do a lot worse than one of these.

Just buy it, it's a no-brainer!
You will see much improved boot times, and applications will open considerably faster. they also improve battery life on laptops as these do not have motors or mechanical They are pretty much the best upgrade you can do to a PC or Mac.
