Just as good as the MKH416
After extensive research and willingness to replace the less sensitive RODE NTG2 shotgun mic, I decided to go with this mic. I bought it for the express purposes of using it with making short films and web series. I've done a few tests and love using this mic.

Big Bang for the Buck
This Shotgun mic is awesome and works wonderfully. It captures extremely clear sounds that are crisp to the ear and at a low cost.

Efficient
This mic is well built and produces crystal clear sound. The audio quality far exceeds that of mics in it's category.

Really solid construction and great quality sound.
Great mic, AWESOME construction, although keep in mind that it is phantom powered, so it drains the battery on my Tascam DR-100 pretty quickly. And keep it as close to the subject as possible.
