"Upgraded to a RODE...very impressed"

I was a bit nervous about buyying this budget friendly mic at first. I didn't think it would live up to the U87 comparisons I've read but believe me, it definatly can hold it's own. Beats the hell out of the TLM 103 and my Blue Baby Bottle. Very flat, warm and full recordings on male vocals.

All-purpose, good performing mic

Very versatile, due to the polar patterns available (omni, cardioid, figure 8) and low-pass, as well as pad: You can record percussion vocals, piano and everything else you want, with the only condition that you need to have some time to test the settings: 3 polar patterns x 3 filters x 3 pads = 27...

A perfect recording solution -I love it!

I love this microphone for all it does. It picks up very subtle detail and has been my favorite purchase for my at home recording studio. It has several options you can choose with a simple click on the body of the microphone (variable polar pattern, variable high pass, etc).

not the best

its meh, not good for the price, I gave it to my son who's 4 years old as of today, he still sounded like a child tho, this product may of been broken. I am not sure or an expert on this topic although I have my dad who told me in my sleep that this is not the best product.

Very good quality microphone.

I have two of these microphones for stereo recording . I run them into a focusrite isa preamp and they sound very impressive. These microphones have a multi polar patterns which gives you a lot of flexibility in the recording process. They have a have a large full bodied sound that sounds expensive. These microphones run on phantom power from your mic preamp or mixing desk. They work well in the studio as a good flexible microphone for vocal and instrumental work and work well as a stereo pair.
