"Blackwidow- Is it seriously worth it?"

Razer is a company that specializes in gaming peripherals and gear. Today, I will be reviewing a recent purchase of mine, the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard 2013 (T1).

Sleek; Ergonomic Design; Responsive; Aesthetically good looking and Convenient

Quite Expensive; Sensitive (To people who haven't use a mechanical keyboard before)

RAZER RZ03-00181400-R3U1 Black Wired Lycosa Mirror Special Edition Gaming Keyboard

Performs as advertised Keys are very slippery - to the point of causing difficulty in typing (hitting wrong key due to finger ideas slipping across tops of keys). No capability to improve brightness of illuminated keys - eventually they're not vibrant enough.

Would i recommand that keyboard if you want to try your luck (because nothing assure that you will have a functional keybord) sure get it,

works (so far) look new (for the one i received at least

i gave 3 eggs instead of 4 only because of those 2 points; i had no stickers in my box :( and the keyboard is not level (has a little wobbleing when sitting on a flat surface

When I first saw the brand new Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard on display at IFA 2016 in Berlin, I thought it was just another Razer keyboard with RGB backlighting. When I looked closer and realised that it's actually a brand new Razer keyboard equipped with brand new Razer switches, I immediately...

Some prefer the reassuring clickety-clack of a noisy mechanical keyboard. Others crave the quiet spring of membrane keys. Razer's Ornata keyboard combines the two into something called Mecha-Membrane, and it really is the best of both worlds.

Razer's Latest Keyboard Blends Membrane and Mechanical

I ' m not exactly sure why a keyboard manufacturer would want to merge mechanical - and membrane - switch technology; membrane ' s only real advantag e is its low price. Still, the Razer Ornata Chroma ($100) aims for this unusual hybrid, and while the system works fine, it offers neither the...

Good in-game performance; Convenient wrist rest; Pretty RGB lighting

Hybrid keys add nothing; Similarly priced keyboards are better

Razer Ornata Chroma Keyboard – A...

When it comes to my keyboards and mice for my PC, I am a creature of habit. I find a good quality keyboard or mouse that fits my hand, feels good to use, and performs well and I stick with it. It's a pretty rare occasion that a review item replaces one of my standard items for daily use.

At around the one hundred-pounds mark, any keyboard worth its keys is likely to be equipped with mechanical switches. Razer isn't ignorant of this fact, and the Ornata Chroma addresses the issue with an unusual take on key actuation.

Razer Ornata Chroma Keyboard Review

While it may not have the crazy features we often see on high-end gaming keyboards, the Razer Ornata Chroma actually feels a little more grown-up than the usual offerings from Razer.

Great build quality; Nice overall design; Chroma lighting; Braided cable; Excellent switch performance; Padded wrist rest included; Great for work and gaming; Competitive price

Razer Ornata Chroma

There's a reason you don't see many top-notch budget gaming keyboards : In order to check the right boxes and hit the necessary price point, manufacturers must either sacrifice features for the typing experience or the typing experience for features.

Attractively priced; Fine typing experience for any application

Limited features; Some adjustment may be required
