Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro - Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (Green Switch) RZ03-03530100-R3M1 review

Razer’s first wireless mechanical gaming keyboard is more than solid, but doesn’t make a strong case for the wireless mechanical keyboard.

2.4 GHz and Bluetooth wireless; Razer mechanical switches; Dedicated media controls; Comfy wrist rest

Razer Synapse connection issues; Dramatically reduced battery life when using RGBs; Very expensive

The Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro cuts the cord and increases the quality across the board.

Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro Review

If you’ve been yearning for a wireless BlackWidow, then Razer has answered your calls. It has some great features, including Green keyswitches and sturdy construction – but issues with software integration and battery life drop-off mean it’s hard to justify that high price tag.

Military-grade construction; Green switches: Light under finger with a satisfying click; Brilliant software;

High price; Battery life drop-off is a cause for concern; Device/software integration needs improving;

This is what I've been missing

I've been gaming for a while and never used a gaming keyboard before. This keyboard really took my gaming to the next level. The buttons are rounded for your fingers to fit perfectly. I do note that the button sounds are quite loud. If you want a quieter keyboard, try the yellow switch version.

Does what it's designed to do and does it well

If you type a lot however, consider the version with the yellow switches.

Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Razer is finally cutting the cord on one of its mechanical gaming keyboards. The Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro combines the Hyperspeed 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth wireless tech introduced in its productivity keyboard, the Editors' Choice award-winning Pro Type, with the coveted design and features of the 2018 BlackWidow Elite. The V3 Pro delivers a tried-and-true Razer flagship keyboard experience without the wires, which is nice, especially since wireless keyboards with mechanical keys are few and far between. At the same time, though, the V3 Pro has flaws that diminish the appeal of going wireless, like many other cordless mechanical keyboards. Plus, it carries a big $229 price tag. Wireless and Mechanical? If That’s What You Want... The BlackWidow V3 Pro, like the BlackWidow Elite before it, is a fairly stacked mechanical gaming keyboard. Its 104-key full-size layout measures 1.94 by 17.69 by 6.22 inches (HWD), but its desk footprint grows to 1.94 by 17.69 by 9.25 by 1.94 inches (HWD), ...

Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro review: A wireless keyboard with gaming audacity

Despite a few forays into more buttoned-down design, Razer is still the first name you think of when it comes to gaming accessory excess. The BlackWidow V3 Pro shows why. It’s a bombastic full-sized keyboard with RGB lighting, dedicated media controls, a comfy wrist rest in the box, and switches allegedly fine-tuned for gaming.

The BlackWidow V3 Pro solidifies a case for Razer as a premium keyboard maker. Wireless flexibility, high-quality switches, and a ton of extras make it worth consideration, even at a high price.

Super-smooth switches; Great media controls; Comfy wrist rest;

Expensive ABS; Keycaps are a little cheap;
