Razer Basilisk V3 review: A full-function gaming mouse with lots of class

While some budget gaming mice weigh less and are less bulky than the Basilisk V3, few have as many premium features—making it one of the most versatile budget mice you can get. Standout features include a faultless 26,000 DPI sensor, a multifunction scroll wheel with extra AI scrolling modes, and an ergonomic thumb rest that’s both comfortable and practical.

The Razer Basilisk V3 has something special in store for just about every gamer, including excellent performance, tons of comfort, buttons galore, and an intuitive multifunctional mouse wheel that optimizes your scrolling.

The Razer Focus + sensor gives faultless performance; Scrolling is made simpler with the HyperScroll Tilt Wheel; The RGB lighting looks fantastic;

It’s quite heavy and bulky; You’re limited to wired connectivity only;

Razer are pumping out new gaming mice faster than ever before. The latest addition to their line-up is the Basi

Comfortable design with an excellent sensor. Customizable sniper clutch is the best implementation of this feature yet. Adjustable scroll resistance.

Only trivial issues.

Razer Basilisk V3 - Ergonomic Wired Gaming Mouse - FRML Packaging RZ01-04000100-R3M1 review

At the end of the day, the Razer Basilisk is a solid gaming mouse that excels at the basic job it should do. I personally found no value in its added features, with the exception of the adjustable scroll wheel tension. The DPI Clutch managed to stay in my way and cause problems at inopportune times.

Great sensor, Scroll wheel adjustment works great, Excellent button feel, Rubberized thumb rest coating

Synapse software requires online account & is bloated, DPI Clutch gets in the way, Thumb rest causes hand sweat
