Razer Basilisk V3 review: A full-function gaming mouse with lots of class
The Razer Basilisk V3 has something special in store for just about every gamer, including excellent performance, tons of comfort, buttons galore, and an intuitive multifunctional mouse wheel that optimizes your scrolling. While some budget gaming mice weigh less and are less bulky than the Basilisk V3, few have as many premium features—making it one of the most versatile budget mice you can get. Standout features include a faultless 26,000 DPI sensor, a multifunction scroll wheel with extra AI scrolling modes, and an ergonomic thumb rest that’s both comfortable and practical.- The Razer Focus + sensor gives faultless performance
- Scrolling is made simpler with the HyperScroll Tilt Wheel
- The RGB lighting looks fantastic
- It’s quite heavy and bulky
- You’re limited to wired connectivity only
Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Review
- Super comfortable to hold
- Ridiculously powerful and responsive
- Vibrant lighting
- Expensive
- Scroll wheel feels a tad cheap
Razer Basilisk V3 Review
- 26.000 DPI sensor feels incredible
- Super comfortable
- Plenty of RGB backlighting
- Scroll wheel can have a mind of its own
- Cheap-feeling scroll wheel
- Synapse 3 is feeling a little bloated
Razer Basilisk V3 review
While the Basilisk V3 has taken a few pointers from the beloved Logitech G502 Hero, Razer has added its own flair and created one of the best gaming mice on the market. It has everything you could possibly need and more customization than you'll likely know what to do with, but we found it to be one of the most enjoyable 'daily driver' mice we've used in a long time.- Smart HyperScroll wheel
- Comfortable ergonomic design
- 26K DPI Optical Sensor
- Plenty of customization options
- No customizable weights
- A stretch for smaller hands
- Right hand only

The Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed punches above its weight class. Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed Specs Design and Comfort Gaming Performance Features and Software Battery Life Bottom Line- Excellent wireless connectivity, Ergonomic design, Strong in-game performance
- Doesn’t support any wired connections, Relies on last-gen Razer technology, AA battery, not rechargeable
Razer Basilisk V3 - Ergonomic Wired Gaming Mouse - FRML Packaging RZ01-04000100-R3M1 review
As its title suggests, Razer has fitted this mouse with its HyperSpeed wireless technology, a faster alternative to Bluetooth. Unlike the Razer Viper Ultimate, this new mouse offers both Bluetooth and HyperSpeed, allowing you to switch the optimisation between battery and performance.- 16,000 DPI is fantastic at this price point, Stellar battery life, Dual connectivity offers versatility, Razer Synapse software offers unparalleled customisation
- No additional weights or side panels limits user base, Lack of overall weight does make it feel a little cheap, Front cover for battery is a little fiddly to place on
Razer Basilisk V3 - Ergonomic Wired Gaming Mouse - FRML Packaging RZ01-04000100-R3M1 review

- Pricey., DPI paddle could be a little short for your hand.
Razer Basilisk V3 - Ergonomic Wired Gaming Mouse - FRML Packaging RZ01-04000100-R3M1 review
The Razer Basilisk Ultimate is a great mouse, but a tough sell at the current price.
