Rayman Legends PS4/Xbox One review

There will come a point during your time with Rayman Legends where you'll run out of ways to express how much you enjoy it. By a few hours in, you'll have exhausted every synonym you know for "pretty." A few stages after that, "fun." By the end: "challenging.

Sheer volume of content; Impressive level variety; Fantastic visuals and music

Initially confusing interface; Murfy isn't always welcome; Chaotic co-op with three or more players

Rayman Legends (Wii U)

Rayman, Globox and the Teensies are sleeping yet again, this time for a century.  During their slumber the Bubble Dreamer's nightmares have started to invade their world.  You must arise and reclaim your world one painting at a time.

Great cooperative gameplay and utilization of the Wii U gamepad

Poor AI for single-player

Rayman Legends

2D platformers have enjoyed a sort-of renaissance period over the past ten years, supported by indie developers and Nintendo alike, but it is the relaunched Rayman series that has most adeptly combined the production value of the crimson plumber's exploits with the inventiveness and...

Fantastic soundtrack; Great co-op; Immaculate level design; Plenty to do

Some A.I; issues in single-player

Rayman Legends' karmic butt poking in distant cosmic buttholes and other stuff

Rayman Legends is a "hey, come in here and look at this!" game. It constantly surprises and delights. It coaxes forth smiles. It's alive and generous, full of movement and joy and landscapes like paintings instead of landscapes like videogames.

Rayman Legends – Review

Back in the days when arcade machines were synonymous with gaming rather than gambling, a simple way for developers to see if they had a hit on their hands was to put it on test in a local arcade. If a player died repeatedly yet still continued to put money into the machine it was a very good sign.

Rayman Legends (Wii U) Review

There are games that appear every now and then that may wow you.  You start them up, and within the first few levels you're already thinking to yourself ‘Yes! THIS is a game!' and from there on in it only gets better, and the love affair grows stronger until it is all consuming.

Rayman Legends (WiiU) (WiiU) - Review

If you like platformers, I doubt you have a lot to complain about over the last generation. The combination of great games from major franchises and introductions to new awesome indie games has made the platforming fanbase well-satiated.

Rayman Legends (Wii U/Vita) Review

Overall, is THE platformer to play on the Wii U and Vita, and one of the best ones in general right now to check out. Besides a few minor inconveniences, the polish put into the game really shows through on the levels. Definitely check this out to see what platforming at its finest looks like.

Rayman Legends – Review (360, PS3, Wii U)

There are times in a consoles life, normally towards the end of a consoles cycle that a game or two come along that either revolutionise the way a genre is looked upon, reinvents the wheel and pretty much nails a genre to perfection or develops into something so magnificent you ask yourself why this...

Rayman Legends

I want to start my review with an interesting perspective. If you have Rayman Legends on the Xbox 360, Personal Computer, Playstation 3, or Wii U then you are probably not going to be interested in it on the Xbox One or Playstation 4.
