Ratchet & Clank: Nexus

The swampland of Planet Thram stretches as far as the eye can see. A spray of small islands pock the landscape, as do sheer rocky cliffs, rising from the murky waters at random intervals, like teeth in a rotten mouth.

Weapons and upgrades; Jetpack; Great sense of humour; Challenge mode

Weak last level

Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus review

Ratchet and Clank have been all over the place--and I'm not just talking about the different planets they've traveled to. After defending the universe from power-hungry fools and dabbling in a few different genres, the galactic duo is back doing what they do best: running around, cracking jokes, and...

Fun platforming and shooting levels; Contains the humor the series is known for

Story ends too abruptly; Side-scrolling sections aren't that fleshed out

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus Review: back to the future for the dynamic duo

One of the major concerns about Into the Nexus, before playing it, was whether it would be of a significant length. Whilst the main story can be blasted through in five hours, there is plenty to keep you playing longer: the Challenge mode (i.e.

Reliable classic gameplay; Some new twists; High replayability

Weak humor; Poor A.I; Some lack of polish

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus Review

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is a lean, mean machine. It doesn't represent a great departure from the franchise, but instead hones in on what made the games so fun in the first place: fast-paced, gun-toting mayhem.

Fantastic; fluid controls; Wonderful sense of humor keeps you grinning from ear to ear; The tight action and small levels keep the action roaring forward; Challenge Mode further energizes the campaign

Some uninspired weapons

Ratchet & Clank Into the Nexus

There are fanboys of Ratchet & Clank out there. I am not one of them. I do not get how anyone can call a hack and slash with a monkey wrench game family friendly. I do not get how anyone can call a shooter family friendly. We can shoot the enemies with guns.

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus , the intergalactic duo's sixth PlayStation 3 outing, is a largely tedious affair. If you've ever played a Ratchet & Clank game before, well, you might as well have already played Into the Nexus .

Fusing action, humor, and planet-hopping in a fun romp.

Parents need to know that Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is a third-person action-adventure hybrid that has you fight against robotic and alien enemies using a variety of weapons. One gun is used from a first-person perspective for more realism.

Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus

Prior to moving towards a more multiplatform approach, Insomniac Games was responsible for two extraordinary franchises for the PlayStation 3: 'Resistance: Fall of Man' and the 'Ratchet & Clank' future series.

Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus

The most valid criticism that can be leveled at Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus is that it is over too soon.  The game has a prologue, four large planets where the story missions take place, and an arena planet.

Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus (PS3) - Review

Ladies and gentlemen, we gather here today to mourn the loss of one of the most enjoyable gaming franchises of the past decade. The Ratchet & Clank Franchise enjoyed a great run between its launch in 2002 and 2009's entry, A Crack in Time , but it appears as though developer Insomniac Games has all...
