Putty Squad

Putty Squad is the newest release for PlayStation 4 from developer System 3 and publisher Maximum Games. The game is also available for other PlayStation systems and Nintendo 3DS, and it's a remake of the classic Amiga and Super Nintendo game of the same name that was originally developed way back...

Putty Squad (PlayStation 4) Review

The little blue blob, Putty, slides his way through lots of different levels, with the idea being that he search for and absorb his red putty blob friends, whilst platforming, picking up collectibles, and dodging and bashing baddies.

Putty Squad PS4 review – Amiga?power

It seems very unfair to suddenly thrust such a dated game back into the limelight, but it ready would've been better if Putty Squad had stayed in retirement.

Putty has an interesting variety of abilities and the surreal range of enemies all have an endearing early '90s feel to them

The level design is nowhere near as interesting as Putty's abilities and is made worse by the overly busy art style and imprecise controls

Good Fun

Good fun. Takes a little while to become familiar with moves etc and would question age 7, probably more 10 plus. Colourful, addictive and fun!

Putty Squad review (PS4)

Created by pioneering European development studio System 3 and originally released on the Super Nintendo by Ocean in 1994 after plans for an Amiga edition were shelved, Putty Squad is a platformer with battle scars.

Review: Putty Squad (Playstation 4)

You know, I'll be the first to admit it: I haven't played a whole lot of 2D side scrolling platformers in the past 10 years. The most recent one I played was Rayman Legends , which was fast, smooth and challenging. Basically everything I remember about a well put together 2D platformer.

Rekindling Platformer Love

I have to confess that these days, when I think platformer, I think of a game to play on my phone while the oil is being changed in my car. So when Putty Squad arrived for review, I wasn't super excited about it. After all, what's the point of playing a platformer on a console?

Putty Squad Review

A fun, quirky little game, that as said, has a wonderful retro feel to it. Bright, colorful and in some ways, it harks back to a more innocent age where games were not all about gun toting heroes, or car jacking anti heroes, or a group of combatants knocking seven shades of you-know-what out of each...

20 Years Late

This game is 20 years late, litirally. The game was originaly released on the SNES in 1993! Even at this price it's awful as it dosent even play well! Do not buy!
