Putty Squad is the newest release for PlayStation 4 from developer System 3 and publisher Maximum Games. Created by pioneering European development studio System 3 and originally released on the Super Nintendo by Ocean in 1994 after plans for an Amiga edition were shelved, Putty Squad is a platformer with battle scars.

You know, I'll be the first to admit it: I haven't played a whole lot of 2D side scrolling platformers in the past 10 years. The most recent one I played was Rayman Legends , which was fast, smooth and challenging. Basically everything I remember about a well put together 2D platformer.

I bought this for my granddaughter for her playstation 4. She has had hours of fun, but so has her Dad. Very colorful lots of animation.

It's a new iteration to Super Putty! Those who played the original will know how zany and fun this game is promising to be. The first thing I noticed when starting to play is... it's 30 fps. But hold on now! This is on a NEXT GEN console, right

This game is 20 years late, litirally. The game was originaly released on the SNES in 1993! Even at this price it's awful as it dosent even play well! Do not buy!

Good fun. Takes a little while to become familiar with moves etc and would question age 7, probably more 10 plus. Colourful, addictive and fun!

It seems very unfair to suddenly thrust such a dated game back into the limelight, but it ready would've been better if Putty Squad had stayed in retirement.

Putty has an interesting variety of abilities and the surreal range of enemies all have an endearing early '90s feel to them

The level design is nowhere near as interesting as Putty's abilities and is made worse by the overly busy art style and imprecise controls

Great film all the family enjoyed it.
