A great throwback to the days of games like System Shock and System Shock 2. A tense horror survival game.. really been enjoying this game so far, which is great since there are so many bad games today.

Scary, builds up suspense well.
The problem I always had with Dishonored is that I couldn't ever imagine anyone living happily in that world. That's sort of the point - the steampunk Victorian-era vibe was designed to force a clash within the Industrial Revolutionary class struggle.
Toby Hills warily eyes the space furniture in Prey, the latest immersive sim from Dishonored dev Arkane Studios.
Exceptional world-building and level design; An excellent, isolating electronic soundtrack; A large cast of side characters that make Talos I feel lived-in
Players looking for combat as deep as that found in Dishonored will be disappointed
"Prey is a satisfying experience for anyone looking for a deeply immersive gaming experience, and it might just make you think a bit more than the surface-level tension would lead you to believe. " © 2017 Bethesda Softworks, Arkane Studios. All rights reserved.
Talos 1 is a fantastic world to explore; and you're consistently rewarded for careful planning and strategy
Some major and minor technical issues bring the experience down a bit; and combat could get repetitive if you don't experiment
While there's certainly a temptation among fans of Arkane's previous work to simply label Prey as " Dishonored in space," that label would do a disservice to the developer's significant efforts to bring a similar approach into the more ambitious and complex environment of Talos I.
Prey is a surprisingly long game, complimented by an incredibly well-designed environment in Talos 1. There's a real tension that never quite lets up, especially knowing that any enemy can kill you quickly if you're not careful.
It may be inspired by other games but it perfects the formula.
Tense atmosphere; multiple playstyles; tight gameplay; fantastic sound design; great story
So many glitches and bugs; difficulty is very uneven
If you could say anything of Arkane Studios in recent years then it would be that it really knows how to master a sense of place, a familiarity within an alien environment, scenery that tells as much of a story as a hundred audio logs could possibly hope to achieve.
Do yourself a favour and take a chance on Prey if mind bending FPS horror is your bag
