Prepping for my review of NBA Playgrounds has been as enjoyable as playing NBA Playgrounds – even more so maybe – as I trek virtually through the rich history of what we reviewers like to call "arcade style" basketball games.

Positives + Great arcade-style basketball + Fantastic roster of new players and legends

Negatives - Opponent AI is a bit too difficult; - Too few gameplay modes

NBA Playgrounds thankfully is a fully licensed game and includes players of past and present. You will find great NBA players such as LeBron James and Stephen Curry along with retired players like Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and Playgrounds cover athlete Allen Iverson.

Design is very simplistic; Online modes are lacking; Offline modes needs more content

Recently, I finished the main storyline of Arkane Studios' Prey . The accomplishment did not bring with it the sort of happiness and fulfillment I usually experience when finishing a game. I didn't enjoy my time with Prey .

It may be inspired by other games but it perfects the formula.

Tense atmosphere; multiple playstyles; tight gameplay; fantastic sound design; great story

So many glitches and bugs; difficulty is very uneven

Only had this game a few days and it's is absolutely amazing! Great graphics, fantastic game play and a really cool storyline so far! Can't fault the customer service either as both games arrived exactly when stated!

NBA Playgrounds is an officially NBA licensed arcade-style basketball game featuring both active and retired players.

Wouldn't an all-new NBA Jam be a lovely thing Let's briefly put aside the fact we had a perfectly serviceable revival as recently as 2010 and wallow instead in the warm nostalgia that fuels NBA Playgrounds, Saber Interactive's characterful spin on a much-loved 90s classic.

great game with some decent story mode

Prey is another of my first person shooter games. I like shooter games. I find them therapeutic. I will not tell my future NHS boss of this obsession though. Shooting things in the head is not an ideal reference for a doctor.
