It′s simply the funniest shooter game ever made. You can change the characters lots of times, you can mock tour enemies. It keeps you playing a lot of time: there are so many locations and modes, and when you get tired of a character, you can easily change it for another in seconds.

Not Bad - Kid friendly

Absolutely love this game, and it is good clean fun. You can choose from many classes either as the plants, or the zombies. You level up, and upgrade the classes, and leveling up yourself as well in the process. The game is hilarious, innovative, and puts a twist on modern day shooters.

Good fun game but nervous about online contact

My son loves this game and although it is a shooting game, the characters are funny and so I don't think it's a problem - we play together sometimes and it's great fun. However recently he's discovered he can talk to other players and join groups - this seemed to make him really obsessed with being...

Frenzied fun!

Actually a really fun game with a lot of customisation. Unfortunately EA have gotten their greasy mitts on it and shoved in a microtransaction system, which is annoying, but at it's core it is a fun little frenzy shooter.

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare

. Killing zombies in video games has been a staple in gaming for as long as I can remember, but using Plants to do it? Well, that was definitely something that hadn't been done before. What set
Pros:
  • + Wonderfully wacky
  • + Fantastic customization
  • + Split-screen co-op
  • + Balanced multiplayer
Cons:
  • - Unlocking characters is unnecessarily tedious
  • - Needs more co-op variety
  • - Only the primary profile gaining experience in co-op

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare (Xbox One) Review – A Refreshing Shooter with Solid Roots

When EA and Pop Cap revealed Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare at E3 back in June of 2013 I'll have to admit that I was counted among the skeptics. Not only that I was surprised to see that a mobile game that was more based on a tower defense sort of model was making the leap into the world of...

Dead and loving it - Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare review

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is endearing on so many levels. This isn't exactly a surprise, considering PopCap's track record. From Peggle to Zuma, from Bookworm Adventures to Bejeweled, each of their games has a distinct, though decidedly casual style.
Pros:
  • Accessible for newcomers
  • yet deep enough for shooter fans to enjoy
  • Classes are varied and important
  • Tons of challenges and unlockables
  • Budget price sweetens the deal
Cons:
  • Only a half-dozen maps at launch
  • Splitscreen mode only available in survival mode

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare review (XB1)

I don't recall ever thinking as I played Plants vs. Zombies on the PC that it would make the perfect third-person shooter, but that's precisely how I responded to the first trailer for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare .
